ceastem Posted July 6, 2019 #1 Posted July 6, 2019 I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting fed up to people posting wrong bets. It's quite normal to cut it close but posting wrong bets really gets on my nerves during telegram challenges. What happened that made this unmutable nowadays? I remember there were a lot of people that were muted before, but now it's quite normal. There are other users I see getting pissed off with them too so I know I'm not the only one. Can't they just be muted? Or explain why it's not mute-able anymore?
Kate Posted July 6, 2019 #2 Posted July 6, 2019 Umm because humans does mistake and humans arent perfect beings that god created and mistakes should be allowed or else then everyone would get muted easily and stake would die.

I can't really say why they are not muting no one. Yes I am talking about during challenges in the challenge room. 6 minutes ago, Kate said: Umm because humans does mistake and humans arent perfect beings that god created and mistakes should be allowed or else then everyone would get muted easily and stake would die. well they know exactly that those are wrong bets. They even say (wrong bet) and sometimes not at all. It's not stupidity but intentionally and that's what makes it worse. I understand those that misunderstood the requirements, misread something, etc. But those that posts wrong bets hoping steve would mistip? I hate them so much.
HighDamage Posted July 6, 2019 #4 Posted July 6, 2019 Aaargh. My device lags a lot when I open Chatroom "Challenges" when there are many people who give Bet ID that doesn't win (I have tried to change my device, but it's still the same) especially when the challenge is easy (i.e. targeting the win with a bet id that has a certain number)

They are absolutely NOT mistakes, and it is extremely annoying when we have to continuously click on wrong bets to see if it is time to move onto the next challenge game, as it changes often these days. Not too long ago, everyone that posted wrong bets was immediately muted to make sure they were taught not to do that... now no one ever gets muted. It is extremely annoying and should be back to the way it was.
cukup2 Posted July 6, 2019 #6 Posted July 6, 2019 the same as I was as annoyed as the person who sent the wrong bet when the telegram challenge was started, it was very annoying and made me out of focus. What is now no longer a bot that can muted a player who incorrectly placed a bet on a ROM challenge? if there is a bot that automatically mutes the player, the wrong bet may be in the chat, it will be safe and not randomly spam the bet id.
GKD09 Posted July 6, 2019 #7 Posted July 6, 2019 For me it's actually only annoying when people post wrong bet ids without saying anything at all or the ones who think Steve will feel mercy for them with a message like "Steve does this count?". That is the only annoying ones for me. I don't mind at all for the ones who say "so close", or they put in brackets saying its not a winning bet but just to show how close they got. But this has to be in the same message with the bet id. Then I don't mind at all, if not like you said it is kinda annoying. Not sure why they stopped muting and I wasn't around when they were muting too
3kpk3 Posted July 6, 2019 #8 Posted July 6, 2019 I tend to ignore them and move on. They usually don't bother me too much this way though I can understand the frustration op. I think the Stake team might do something about this if more people raise a dispute against this issue.
Aazzah Posted July 6, 2019 #9 Posted July 6, 2019 Man seriously... This gets on my nerves. Especially in the telegram challenge. This is so annoying and time wasting for steve and other people. I reckon it should be muteable but i dont think they will ever make it muteable.
Jakubb Posted July 6, 2019 #10 Posted July 6, 2019 I don't know, probably because it'd make steves work 1000x more harder just constantly having to mute noobs.
Etude Posted July 6, 2019 #11 Posted July 6, 2019 I suppose there is more of a light leniency towards postings of wrong bets during the Daily Telegram Challenges now. Probably one reasons is that many who got muted for such reasons would head on to flood support to get unmuted too.
FotisNt Posted July 7, 2019 #12 Posted July 7, 2019 i was just wondering about the same. why arent wrongbet ids muted anymore. its rly annoying every 2 posted bet id is a fail bet with the question"DIDI WIN STEVE?!?!". i mean, the rules are not that hard. why are there still so many ppl who odont get it
mizickiz Posted July 7, 2019 #13 Posted July 7, 2019 I think you have become too seriously when discussing this issue. The Stake team has too much work to do in each challenge and may be too busy to be able to fulfill their job well. But this also helps people to participate in discussions in the chat box actively.
Kippo Posted July 7, 2019 #14 Posted July 7, 2019 Maybe they let people to paste bet ids in challenge channel for miss people . That’s why they make a new channel for challenge
barbaris Posted July 7, 2019 #15 Posted July 7, 2019 Yes, it is really annoying and confusing. It seems to me that the mute for this was a fair punishment. Because of this, it is not possible to understand how many places are left. It seems to me that with this Steve has added to himself extra work, to look for among the heap of not faithful bet id the correct bet.
artizykristy Posted July 7, 2019 #16 Posted July 7, 2019 as I recall, Eddie said do not muted those who bet this wrong ID which made many people post wrong batch when the challenge was in progress
williamshennie9 Posted July 7, 2019 #17 Posted July 7, 2019 I asked @Steve in the chat, and he told me that he would spend more time muting people than actually focusing on the giveaway. I understand that, but the mods can also help him with that.
