FotisNt Posted July 7, 2019 #1 Posted July 7, 2019 Just a month ago, giants like Starbucks, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, and AT&T announced that they accept cryptocurrency as a payment option. With the popularity that cryptocurrency is growing there is no doubt that it will soon be among other payment methods. Especially for the international payments, with its ridiculously low fee and time taken for inter-border transfers it is surely the favorite among the traders. Also, with giants accepting it as a payment option there is no other need to prove its authenticity.
williamshennie9 Posted July 7, 2019 #2 Posted July 7, 2019 I would say that it is already a payment option with some of the companies which you have mentioned. I think that more companies will soon accept crypto, making spending it much easier than ever before.
Kingcashedout Posted July 7, 2019 #3 Posted July 7, 2019 Man cryptocurrency is never gonna be excepted by all stores ....it may be by some but it lets say for instance crypto is never gonna be preferred by sax5th or prada or the belinciaga outlet over the physical dollar bill...... Honestly i have a feeling bitcoin gonna collapse to everyones suprise n the crypto trend will be that just a trend ......soon itll fall off
barbaris Posted July 7, 2019 #4 Posted July 7, 2019 Every day, some firms and companies are starting to accept cryptocurrencies. I have even seen a church that accepts donations in cryptocurrency. This method of payment sooner or later will undoubtedly become popular and affordable in many places.
heisa Posted July 7, 2019 #5 Posted July 7, 2019 Oh for sure, alot of companies accept crypto currencies already. Also ive seen people having cards which have bitcoin, you can use them as normals cards.
Etude Posted July 7, 2019 #6 Posted July 7, 2019 I would definitely love to see this happen and it would get cryptocurrency more and more into the mainstream and masses of people.
concertrate Posted July 10, 2019 #7 Posted July 10, 2019 I think the txn costs of btc at the moment limits this dream
cryptofly Posted July 10, 2019 #9 Posted July 10, 2019 A think some where in forum is a topic with this info; anyway, I would like to say that we at the ecosystem urge the mass adoption when talking about to receive crypto payments. Blockchain in the industry has been very important and big companies all around the world are right now developing their own projects using it for internal use. The news are great when they now are ready to go "out side" and let the majority of costumers pay with cryptos, this is not other thing than the response for all the effort done by us, yes by us as we are here supporting it, and will come with the huge work to help them starting now. So I encourage all of us to go and spread the word and to become some how in a crypto evangelist. Good luck.
Kate Posted July 21, 2019 #10 Posted July 21, 2019 Well it already is and it is not as an alternative for most of the shoppygg sites you can see that most of them only accept bitcoin and paypal is the second option that they prefer.
ivan8877 Posted July 21, 2019 #11 Posted July 21, 2019 I think for a long time a cryptocurrency payment alternative, in many countries you can easily pay for a crypto or exchange ... This also applies to websites ... I think that cryptocurrency will soon become world-wide accepted .... Today we are in amazing euphoria. So great is the potential of crypto ... We literally already feel a decentralized future 😉
SLFJ Posted July 21, 2019 #12 Posted July 21, 2019 Yeah it will just because how big it is already and how embiggen its gonna be and how kuch use of it they can get, prices will fluctuate, people will be satisfied wuth this payment method in my opinion because of how big it is and how useful too.
Enzo Posted July 21, 2019 #13 Posted July 21, 2019 I really think that's a great possibility. I know BitPay is doing interesting things with it. If you don't know what that is, you can load a debit card with crypto and spend it anywhere. However there aren't a lot of places where I live that accept cryptocurrency. I think it's great that Microsoft accepts it. I don't even have BTC ATM's where I live. That's behind the times lol.
Angelia1994 Posted July 24, 2019 #14 Posted July 24, 2019 Currently in my country there are a number of universities that are applying to pay tuition by Bitcoin. I believe that in the future, Bitcoin will be officially selected as the main form of payment worldwide

Developers are working really hard to fix this issues; there you have right now that "lightning network" to create fast transactions, or all dApps for business to help them to charge and sale in bitcoins or some other cryptocurrencies. People in the ecosystem is working very hard to make a friendly environment for us to enjoy. Good luck.
ArturShabanov Posted September 20, 2019 #16 Posted September 20, 2019 Я думаю нет, потому что у нас очень много бабушек, которым даже с картой сложно
DERCRAFT Posted September 20, 2019 #17 Posted September 20, 2019 I believe that the world is developing and cryptocurrency can easily become an alternative payment method, why not, because it is more convenient than many of the payment methods.

I think it will start gradually, first in America, then in other English-speaking modern countries. There is no doubt that the cryptocurrency will become the official currency. In Germany, I recently saw ATMs that withdraw cryptocurrencies.
Forceowl17 Posted September 20, 2019 #19 Posted September 20, 2019 Yes its easy and faster then banks. But banks will have their crypto too🙃
Goodguy123329 Posted September 21, 2019 #22 Posted September 21, 2019 Of course, I think this is inevitable.
Mikehoncho Posted September 21, 2019 #23 Posted September 21, 2019 With companies like facebook, Wells Fargo, and telegram all doing their own coin it is inevitable. My concern and confusion with it has always been with way the value fluctuates so rapidly. :Like with the bitcoin backed debit cards. One day I have $500 worth of coin, and the next $400 without spending anything? How can that work?
Goodguy123329 Posted September 21, 2019 #24 Posted September 21, 2019 I think it will be very difficult to implement, but in 10 years we will be able to pay with bitcoin anywhere
