Maverick Demote

It has come to my attention that alot of the community do not like maverick. I thought he just hated me and muted me for no reason but it has seemed to be a recurring thing throughout the stake player base. We decided to setup a straw poll and within 2 minutes 7 people decided that they wanted maverick demoted (proof will be down below) He has muted david88888 for talking about other sites when he was talking to support in chat about it and they were fine, But maverick still didn't care and he went on and muted him. He later on muted SnikeConfirmed for talking about getting maverick demoted. I think maverick's feelings are getting in the way of justice and causing him to unfairly mute people before warning them. He just muted Hammad because he misunderstood what he was saying, thinking that he was begging for a tip when he was just saying that someone was asking for a tip in his PM's when he is broke... lmao

I'm fine with being muted! I spam. I write caps. I dont really care. (@Dan this one is more serious)

But I'm not fine with mods being abusive cocks in chat. Muting people without reason (very unlogical explanations) or just to seem funny/strong. 

As I stated in chat. David, me and some other people were talking about this site (everyone knows it by now) and even with support members in chat we didn't get muted nor warned once. So you would think no one cares if we just casually talk about it...

Promoting other sites is against rules . and mentioning other sites is also considered promoting ! A warning was given and then when he did it again he was muted which is 100% fair ! As a regular player he knows the rules and needs to follow them , thus the mute could've been done without the warning ! Snike was muted because of spamming the same link again and again . And his alt Tree was muted cause of typing Caps intentionally ! None of the mutes are unfair and there is always a reason ! We have chatlog to for any clarifications !

So why were the support members ok with us talking about it... And some of the mutes are not 100% fair because i have complained about it in support before now and even they couldn't give me a reason.

you all should ask support to come in chat and chime in on this issue rather than growl at each other, i know everyone is trying to do the right thing.... but what is the right thing... who decides ? who is one up in the hierarchy or ladder of stakeness? i say bring in support to main chat or forum i guess works too now what i think abou tit... documented as well that way...

On the chat rules it doesn't say anywhere not to mention other sites. Therefore it was an unfair mute because maverick did not follow the muting policy (even if there is one which I doubt there is)

Who do you think would step on the side of the mods? Support ofc. They arent even allowed to go against their team members.

You were the first one to mention that site, which is another Casino, and you were warned, and you did not like the warning (and now you are asking for warnings, funny).

You were not muted.

Show me proof and I'm fine. You could rather try to figure out the problem and not just mute everyone you dont like. (Which is funny...)

In the chat rules it doesn't state that we are not allowed to mention other sites therefore it was an unfair mute, don't get so defenseless you can check the rules at forum.stake.com/topic/981-chat-rules you link it so many times you should know them. You know because you're all about justice and that

I know it was not right of you its just that it doesn't state it in the chat rules thats whats annoying me, you didn't deserve a mute in the first place. We should all be treated equally and mods should try not to abuse there powers because it quite frequently is happening.

Okay, let's discuss this a bit further.

Maverick is one of the most valuable members we have, and he is doing an amazing job as a mod. He is one of those that 'earned' that position with his knowledge and dedication. But, the thing you probably don't like about him, is that the rules are the same for everyone when it comes to him. And I couldn't agree more on that. I am basically doing the same thing. It's okay to joke around, play around, but all of the members that are here every single day know the rules very well. There is no need for a warning that promoting other sites is not allowed in the chat. I'm pretty sure you all know that. But you are breaking that rule intentionally, and then you are complaining about the mute. 

There is a section in the forum dedicated to discussions about other sites, it's not like we are avoiding that topic, but talking about that in the chat, sharing referral links, not using the designed language, I've seen most of you breaking those rules INTENTIONALLY. So, when you're behaving like that, you should expect being muted for some time. I cannot tell you how many times he reduced the mute hours just because he didn't want to turn out to be a bad guy. You should all know that he spends more hours than most of the mods here, and he's making sure that everything works fine. And again, he's doing a great job.

I think the chat rules should be edited because it does not state that in there so we are technically following the rules (just not your personal rules which cannot get us muted) Please clarify this in the chat rules so the players can be further aware of this also we are not talking about maverick specifically we are just talking about mods in general now. Some people are not aware that they are over stepping the line, and a polite - hey x that's against the rules, before insta muting people, would go a long way towards reducing these number of threads I think. 

I think in my opinion there is definitely space for some moderators to be more considerate of players in chat, before they throw out mute coins.

At the end of the day the moderator team does a brilliant job, and if it wasn't for them, Stake chat would be pretty much useless. So thanks for that.

As much as I like you Irena. I will critic every point you make

1. You said "breaking those rules intentionally". You know that if people ,who are on stake up to 5 hrs daily, are typing in chat they all know the rules and they all know to not post like ref links or stuff. David and I were talking about the site where he has been trading balance for stake balance. It is obvious that he wasnt promoting it in any way. By "time for some more bitcoinrush rounds. PM me" I think he mostly meant that he is online again and ready to trade again. 

2. About maverick in general. He muted my accounts a lot of times for really sketchy reasons. For spam, when I was texting quite fast but had to send multiple messages in a short amount of time due to either reaching the word limit or due to some typos. Then there was the mute case that I was muted on my main account during some trivia session. Obviously as the money whore which I am, I got onto my alt account named "Tree". When I was unmuted on my main account I said "Finally. Hello again" and after sending the message I sent a simple "cya guys" on my alt account. After that maverick, as a hero as he is, had to come in and mute me on both accounts for "talking on two accounts simultaneously". I think if he was a normal kind of guy it wouldnt have made any impact if I sent that last message or not. No one even cares about that tbh, why would anyone care. It's legit useless to mute me when I didnt even hurt anyone or impactfully broken any rules. It was like he was just waiting on me to talk again to just remute me...

3. You're saying that the rules are the same for everyone on stake. Why can some people (I wont name anyone) mention bitsler, BitVest, BitKong, etc. in chat without one mentioning by a mod/support or anything. No one cares, no one even said anything cause they were just talking about the sites not promoting, just mentioning.

If anyone wants proof of that just check out the chatlogs from yesterday at like 2-3pm European time.
