Heya everyone!

So most of us are familiar with the update notifications that Stake gives us, where they ask us to refresh the page. I would like to know your thoughts about this, and if it is really necessary, or just annoying.

Let's discuss it below, and please vote in the poll :)

Updates sometimes can be very important as they may be fixing bugs, security issues etc, so I voted yes for this one. I think it is good to know when a new update is available.

For me refreshing the page isn't the biggest thing and sometimes I'd refresh it instantly to see if theres any visible updates and sometimes I don't even bother refreshing at the time.

There have been people suggesting Stake to have a beta version and to test them on that. But if that isn't going to happen I think it would be nice if they had a "change log", with all the updates from the most recent ones to the older ones. So we could actually have a look at it, since most don't seem to be any visual changes. We would at least be aware of what we are refreshing for.

And if it can't be updated every time they make an update to at least change the log hourly or at most daily :D

I`m good with the refresh thing.  No problems at all as I always gamble in same laptop.  Updates are important, is a message to the community regarding people backing up the site and working every single day.  how many updates this year so far?  That will be a good point to promote this site among friends.  I will consider that.  Good luck..

I voted yay because refreshing the page isn't really a bother to me. I actually like it because other updates from apps usually require downloading something

Of course it varies sometimes because if I refresh while in a game, it would refresh my whole livestats for the sessions :(

To be honest it doesn't really bother me. I say Yay.

If anything they help us out and make the site faster and more fun. I'd prefer to have frequent updates rather than once every month or something :)

ofc updates can be annoying and yes there will be bugs that will need to be attended to,, and yes it won't be perfect., but you always wanna see what they have added to the site.. it wont be nearly perfect but ifs a good improvement to the site.,. then is ok.. but at least now they actually letting us know  with maintenance when they going to do it.. before they let us know the time of.. then giving us an hour or so ahead of time. that was really annoying.. but now a heads up is always a good thing..

You can check the change log of Stake in here . or you can find the change log under of the site (at the footer page). Some any changes will be recorded and being updated in that github link.

I don't mind for refreshing  the page while playing, its not affecting anything and actually it was more better because of fixing some existing bugs that really annoying. So, better than sorry, just refresh the page when the page being updated.

I guess the updates are being pushed for a reason no matter how insignificant it is but usually it is neccesary. A simple refreshing actually does not much harm except that it resets your current gambling statistics in the live stats. So it is best I suggest to keep up with the updates pushed and refresh when required.

Ooooh! So THAT is why i keep getting that little popup that says to update my page? lol - i could not figure that out for the life of me!

Ok - so now that I know the reason it is there, it does not bother me so much.  Before now, I was constantly updating/refreshing and could not figure out why.  That was definitely starting to get on my nerves a bit.

Shennie - will you please keep me advised of all the new Stake changes from now on? lol :P

Of course it's necessary! Players warned, sometimes this is useful in a direct sense, but sometimes annoying, but still it is impossible to remove this thing.

I don't think all those stuffs is necessary. It is a website for Christ sake, it is not an app. When I open the page, it should be automatically updated. There is no need to continue updating the website. Is it a way to show users that there is a new update or something is actually updating, because I don't get to see the reasons. I am so so confused.

Update the website and let us move on. There is no need to continue updating. For the past 3 days now, that notification has been popping up which is quite annoying. Update the website and move on. I don't expect it to pop up every time, when I am definitely refreshing my page when I am opening the page.

This thing is confusing as hell.

I personally welcome the update notifications and don't mind when they happen from time to time.  But to me it get's a bit annoying when they pop up every 2 minutes.  I know that this only happens on very rare occasions, so it's not that bad, just gets on my nerves a bit I guess.

Well its kinda nice to be notified about upcomming or current updates. It's always good to know what's next and what to expect from a gambling site. These update notifications aren't a problem since each of them has a use.

It's necessary for me, because when you don't update, sometimes you will get an error when opening someone bet or opening other things on stake, the error will pop out and you need to refresh to fix it.

On one side - updates might be important, and we need to refresh page, so notifications are kinda good and important stuff. But ... it just popping too much often :) Maybe these notifications could be shown only if really important updates were launched?

This seems to be the general consensus among people. I suppose they should limit the notifications to only to very important ones, and let the other ones (minor ones) update in the backround.

i think the notifications didnt annoying at all. because its really help us to get know about the new updates.

i think so many people will not know the updates if the notifications didnt popup, but sometimes when i not open it yet i thought it was a rain/tip xD

There has been countless ones appearing again and again in this period where the new Crash game is about to be introduced, especially today! :o Not too what does these constant mini updates are suppose to have a effect on either.

The update prompt on my screen poping up all the time is really annoying.

If and when there  is a big update it's usually announced anyway so to me i think it's unnecessary to  have the pop up notifications on small updates.

It doesn't even state what did get updated. even the Change Log is a couple of days behind, I guess maybe they are testing some features regarding the crash however why should I get notified every now and then for something that isn't stated feels odd!
