S1MPL3X Posted July 9, 2019 #1 Posted July 9, 2019 i saw this article and to be honest it says the pros and cons of both platforms and talks about how mobile gambling might actualy take over pc/laptop gambling in my opinion this is massive for the gambling world making it more mobile and easier to use so here it is Well, online gambling is becoming more and more popular in recent years. People get the same feel of playing in a land-based casino in Las Vegas when enjoying gaming online. Countries like the UK has legally approved online gambling, and casino freaks like playing online to quench their thirst. Will Smartphones Dominate PCs in Online Gambling? But the paramount question in the millennial mind is whether PCs will be the means of online gaming, or these will be the mobiles that will take all the fun over? The future of gambling is in the hands of mobiles, and there are many factors to prove this. The analysis given below will throw some light on this issue. The sites like Spin Princess slots are offering the best games with promotional bonuses, and the slots can be accessed at ease, and one can quickly navigate through the site. Now, take a look at the study to understand how mobile phones and desktop computers compete in offering the best gambling experience. First, understand that mobile gambling is playing casino games using handheld devices including tablets, iPad, iPod, and phones. You can hold these devices in your pocket and bags to start playing at any time you want and from everywhere. Having clarified this, see how mobile gambling differs from playing on computers. Internet Access (4G) There are two things which will confuse you in this area. One is the Internet access availability, and another is its speed. Computers connected to WiFi at home or office will work at a better speed than the data available on mobiles. However, with the arrival of 4G, phones can also work perfectly due to this new high-speed Internet connection. This being the scenario where mobile gambling dominates in the field of online gaming as one can play from anywhere and anytime. And desktop computers depend on the Internet connection, speed, and location to play. Also, take a note that data cost is very effective when comparing to the cost of Internet connection. There is no need for any installation, and connecting as well as disconnecting can happen in the blink of an eye. Screen Size Playing land-based casinos cannot be compromised by the true gamblers as the lightning, people, and surroundings make them feel great. They get a mind-blowing experience in person. But, distance and time is a constraint, and thus, online gambling came to the limelight. Later, it is enthusing players’ more than brick-and-mortar institutions as online games can now be provided with the best-in-class graphics and sound effects. You can even chat with your other players what gives a feeling of traditional land-based gambling but from the comfort of your home. Thus, the screen size does matter, and computers get a better score here. Still, mobile devices do not take the second stand as the developments in technology have offered the same experience on your mobile screens. Ease of Use and Privacy Computer gambling can be played only from a fixed place, and you cannot carry a PC wherever you go, unlike mobile devices which are with you all the time. Thus, it can help you relax and gamble at any time. You can also play in privacy by using such devices. No one can understand what you are doing when playing on such devices. Again, mobiles outstand PCs in this regard. Battery Life This is slightly tricky when you compare computers and phones. Computers can get a constant flow of power as they are plugged to a socket. As for the phone charge, it gets drained quickly when various games are being played continuously. Still, don’t get disappointed. Remember the power of power banks. Power banks can supply charge to all types of mobile devices. This will help you to play on the go without any interruptions. Portability Needless to mention this criterion as you know very well that carrying computers is not possible, and roaming with mobile devices in your pocket is now a lifestyle. It is easy to use mobiles anywhere as they are much lighter in terms of weight. You need to be sitting in front of the computer to enjoy the games, and mobile gadgets, on the contrary, allow you to play at ease. Final Thoughts To support this argument that mobile gambling overtakes desktop computer, a UK magazine has reported that 60% of gamblers prefer using mobiles to PCs. A point to mention here is that mobile devices have started taking the front seat, and yet, computers have not lost their importance. It is expected that mobile gaming will skyrocket in the online gambling market in terms of usage in the nearest future. Having considered these facts, a number of gaming providers have started offering slot games to be played on Android, iOS, and other devices. You can quickly download an app and have all the fun in one click.
FotisNt Posted July 9, 2019 #2 Posted July 9, 2019 Well I guess that the best way to play is a pc with a home connection. I mean, mobile can be annoying sometimes due to the screen, mobility or the 4g( for those who use it). Also a laptop can be nice to bet on due to its portability while you can do whatever you want while betting and place it anywhere.
bobdole Posted July 9, 2019 #3 Posted July 9, 2019 I personally don't want it to be any more convenient to gamble. Before you had to go to the casino, then you can play whenever at home, now you can play anytime on your phone. It's like having a drug dealer in your pocket. Furthermore, when playing on phone it's more difficult to focus on what you're doing and easier to make mistakes. I'll stick to PC for gambling.
SLFJ Posted July 9, 2019 #4 Posted July 9, 2019 The Stake is kinda balanced with PC/laptop and mobile phone users, but I feel like my internet with ease is one of the greatest I believe, about the screen sizes, if you have a tablet I think then it's fine but pc is the best for this specification, about battery life, my pc will never run out of percents as my phone will, it's also easier for me to use PC while I gamble because of the mobility, chat and gamble at the same time, doesn't lag, but when I come on my phone, it kind of lags and I cant chat at the same time that I'm betting, which is sad, because whenever I use mobile I cant use my pc. Overall I choose PC.
Aazzah Posted July 9, 2019 #5 Posted July 9, 2019 In my experience, PC Is the most easiest and most fun. It is fun because I can type, see chat, and tip a lot easier. And most importantly It doesn't lag and you can click easier! In my experience though, on mobile it is quite laggy and when I click on a tile on mines it is always delayed by a few seconds. That might just be my phone but I don't think it is. But seriously having gamble on PC it is so much different and less laggy. I just really think on PC it is 1000x easier than on phone.
Etude Posted July 9, 2019 #6 Posted July 9, 2019 I like to play Stake on mobile much more for its convenience when compared to on PC /Desktop. Stake does seem to in general consume alot of memory while running.
ivan8877 Posted July 9, 2019 #7 Posted July 9, 2019 Of course, a computer or laptop for games is much better and more convenient ... the screen on the phone is too small, you can skip important information ...
williamshennie9 Posted July 12, 2019 #8 Posted July 12, 2019 I know that mobile is becoming the new system to use, and I do use it more than ever nowadays. However, I still prefer using my computer do day-to-day tasks. I prefer the bigger screen and a proper keyboard
wngo123 Posted July 14, 2019 #9 Posted July 14, 2019 Quote Will Smartphones Dominate PCs in Online Gambling? I think yes because people use smartphone more and more often than they use computers. That's the reality of 2019. Who knows what future will bring? In my opinion people prefer to gamble on smartphones because they can do it everywhere not only at their desk, but another important reason is that more and more people don't have computer, they just have a smartphone! I think more people will choose smartphone over computer, but only those who don't create any input for example computer programmers, graphic designers etc will still use PCs, but people who don't need to install large applications that give full potential only on PC/laptop will just use smartphone. I mostly play on my laptop or desktop. For me the most comfortable way to play is desktop, then laptop. On desktop I don't experience any lag. On laptop I do sometimes during extensive play when more processor power is necessary then my fan turns on very loud and that can be annoying, but other than that usually it is ok to play on my laptop. Playing on mobile is ok, but I find my cellphone getting really hot sometimes. Playing on smartphone feels good because you can relax on sofa or bed.
Enzo Posted July 14, 2019 #10 Posted July 14, 2019 By far and without question, I prefer PC/Laptop over Mobile betting. The screen real estate is the main reason. But sometimes on mobile when the chat gets moving very fast it can tend to bog my phone down. Not all the time though which is quite weird to me. Who knows, maybe it's a coincidence and at those times my connection is having issues. All that being said, given the option I would choose to ditch my phone and keep a PC/laptop. I hardly use my phone as is.

Also pc might give you a better performance while betting I guess. Mobiles can be annoying and make you misstap few times.
pokerdoker99 Posted August 7, 2019 #12 Posted August 7, 2019 Well, mobile are making their move. Just think about it. I would say 2/3 of the population use mobiles over PCs. Today, when you are creating a website, you are making it look good for a mobile version over pc version. Also, this(https://pokiesportal.com/mobile-casinos/) states that mobile casinos are the futures. They are making the like live games (almost). Graphics can be much better on a mobile also. This is just the evolution. So if you are missing a modern smartphone, better buy one

zulfandina Posted August 7, 2019 #14 Posted August 7, 2019 it is true that games on cellphones / smartphones are now increasing sharply ... especially online gambling ... inversely proportional to pc / laptops today ... sales levels are also higher when compared between smartphones and pc / laptops. smartphones are far more in demand by various individuals than pc / laptops .. however, if we discuss gambling, according to the survey, the average of those who love the world of online gambling prefers a pc / laptop as a means of gambling rather than a smartphone ... that's because of its wider display, also its features are easier to be operated when compared to playing / betting on a smartphone. later, internet connection is also one of the reasons most people prefer PCs / laptops to bet / gamble, because even though the 4G network is so wide and strong to log into various gambling sites, there are still distractions ... especially those living / living far from urban areas. .. while using a wifi network on a laptop / pc the access speed is guaranteed, it is also more convenient to use .. smartphone network is strong (4G) but only for a few applications ... usually more applications are embedded on the smartphone ... while if the site we want to visit is not in the smartphone application, the possibility of access to enter the site will not be nice. the speed will be much reduced .. there are many other things that make some people prefer a laptop / pc if you want to play online gambling.
Kippo Posted August 7, 2019 #15 Posted August 7, 2019 Old Stake was a good one and very mobile convenient casino and primedice too . Now stake v2 isn’t convenient for mobile comparing with v1 . I would recommend to use pc for more smooth games play
CntryBoy Posted August 7, 2019 #16 Posted August 7, 2019 I stick to playing on my laptop these days. The mobile platform here to me needs a lot of work. Hopefully take will eventually revamp it so that it is more user friendly and easier to navigate. Until that happens, and it probably will eventually, I will definitely stick to the PC/laptop version.
Support Jovan Posted August 7, 2019 Support #17 Posted August 7, 2019 For me personally, a desktop device can never be exchanged for mobile, those are just two separate things, but regarding Stake, mobile will beat desktop for sure it's just a matter of time.
