Paecga129 Posted July 9, 2019 #1 Posted July 9, 2019 Ever since I announced to my friends on Stake chat I was pregnant, I have had so many people tell me that I should be taking a break from gambling because it is too stressful and can be hard on the baby. Than I have some people tell me as long as I’m not letting it stress me out, it’s fine. Anyone have any opinions on this for me? I enjoy stake chat and enjoy gambling on the site. I think I would be bored without it. Am I causing danger to unborn child by gambling ?
allisonn Posted July 9, 2019 #2 Posted July 9, 2019 Well, better safe than sorry, might be good to avoid emotional stress or sudden shocks. In Asia they have confinement homes which basically puts the mother in a very comfortable jail 🙂 Eat and sleep all day!

That I should be on bed rest from the day I am pregnant. Haha. This is not the norm where I am from. My sister worked 40 hours a week up until two weeks before she went into labor. Is that mandatory for everyone or is it just an option ? Is it paid for ?
yololife222 Posted July 9, 2019 #4 Posted July 9, 2019 Hey, i think it might if you gamble with bigg amount and youre stress full if not I think it doesnt effect any thing but im not a docctor. Maby you should listen to youre friends especialy if they been true the same as you, some times they are right.
nattekut Posted July 9, 2019 #5 Posted July 9, 2019 I think cause of pregnancy it only can affect your emotional decisions on some bets. But further I do not see any harm in gambling while you are pregnant. As long as you do not do 1BTC base bets I do not see any problem 🤣 I think it maybe even is a good thing of being pregnant. You will be able to be more rational. Having a baby is way more important than a stupid bust or a missed multiplier. So you will care less when busting cause giving birth to a new life is way more exciting and special. BTW I am in Vegas at the moment and I already saw tens of pregnant women going crazy at the slots machines or table games. So believe me gambling when pregnant doesn't harm

It's a paid service and the bill can run up to quite a lot, as it includes nice lodgings, maid service, "safe" food being catered etc. I'm not particularly a big fan of it but I guess some people don't want their wives going nuts while carrying their baby? In Asia people usually have fewer children because of the financial burden so it makes each one a big deal.
S1MPL3X Posted July 9, 2019 #7 Posted July 9, 2019 well i personally think that it isnt the healthyiest when your pregnant i got this article in responce of your question here this should help coming from this person who wrote it is a female and did gamble while pregnant *Since I have been working in Casino industry for a while, I have been witness to many cases, when heavily pregnant women has been gambling on the Roulette table, which has required her to lean constantly on her stomach, together with the danger of being hit by one of the many other gamblers, surrounding her. Gambling is not only physically dangerous for the woman and the baby, but there is stress involved, caused by the gambling it self, especially when loosing. And it's not an exception, that some of the previously pregnant woman, continue to gamble after giving birth, often while leaving their baby on the car park of the casino, in the car. Unfortunately, most of the employee are not aware of that fact, since they do not have the chance to see outside the casino, during their working time, however the casino management can be and often is aware of this situation, but choose to ignore it. Either for the business reasons, if the woman is a good customer, financial wise, or simply because they do not care. I urge all of you, who do care, please help me to change this sad, evil fact and take the destiny of those babies in our hands and make the Gambling Commission prohibit gambling to pregnant woman as far as 28 weeks and 6 months after giving birth. Thank you*
akmal1984 Posted July 9, 2019 #8 Posted July 9, 2019 If you are calm and relaxed in playing gambling even though you are in a winning or losing position I don't think that is a problem for your baby. But if you feel depressed while playing, it's good that you rest first. Maybe you can be online at stake without playing. You can enjoy chatting with other users. I pray that your baby will be born healthy. And of course you are.
polor12 Posted July 9, 2019 #9 Posted July 9, 2019 only thing i can say,, i was never prego.. so i cant really have an opinion on this.. but since people keeps talking about stress.. is stressful for just hearing it from people. stress can be created out of no where not just gambling .. you would know. if your gambling and not feeling well.. you would stop and chill. for bit. as long as you know for yourself.. ive seen prego women gambling at the casinos.. shoot.. one lady won a jackpot and got excited went to labor. that''s a true story.. shit happens in vegas.,
cryptofly Posted July 9, 2019 #10 Posted July 9, 2019 Interesting topic. Maybe it is all about your character and the stress level you can handle; nature is wise and you as the mother you will become will surely know when to stop or not. I just would to ask to do some light exercise like walking for some minutes and avoid to stay in front of your screen for long periods of time. That would be my opinion. Good luck.
FotisNt Posted July 9, 2019 #11 Posted July 9, 2019 Well, I don't think so. Since someone is pregnant, there should be something to do while it's hard to do most stuff and there is a need for a lot of rest. So I guess it's not unhealthy at all, there should be something to do in this free time. Hope I'm not wrong. Let me know if I am! :d
davinmark Posted July 9, 2019 #12 Posted July 9, 2019 i think as long as you are not stressed out and keep enjoy your betting it will be fine, just make sure you are not forget to eat and dont be stressful. do some thing that what should a pregnant woman do so the baby will safe until his/her birth
imaginary Posted July 9, 2019 #13 Posted July 9, 2019 If anything you should be twice as lucky and winning for two, pae! Ask your baby telepathically how to gamble and win.. jk i don’t really believe that it does much to the baby unless gamblings causing you great amounts of stress.
GKD09 Posted July 9, 2019 #14 Posted July 9, 2019 It never really came across to my mind - I never though gambling could be harmful for the baby. But reading the other comments it seems so. I only thought physical things like cigarettes, alcohol and other products were bad to take, but I didn't think stress would really affect the baby. And when people say affect the baby, what do they really mean? Mentally? Have you asked a doctor or any other expert about this? Also I'm sure it's better to be on the safe side and not gamble or if you really love and and are bored outta your minds, just wager like 1 sat or something so you wouldn't get stressed at all. Play some challenges etc. What if it the end your child turns out to be a gambler 😮 Learnt from the momma Just kidding, I hope not! Btw congratulations and hope you stay healthy!

In all seriousness though, as some have mentioned, undue stress can cause some issues down the line.... so I wouldn't recommend gambling away your rent/mortgage payment. However if you're just blowing off some steam and wasting time and maybe a bit of money, I don't see the harm. Also, if you happen to win big, the release of endorphins from experiencing joy is a good thing... hopefully this is happening anyways just at the joy of being pregnant.

Thanks for passing this along as I had never heard of this before and find it very interesting. I am def taking it easy in a lot of aspects since finding out I am pregnant .... but I still have to work in order to pay my bills. I can’t imagine doing absolutely nothing and having a maid. Very interesting info.
Etude Posted July 10, 2019 #17 Posted July 10, 2019 Well in gambling there is no way you are able to fully control how gambling will affect you especially when the odds are generally stacked against you so to be in stressful situations is almost natural in gambling.
cukup2 Posted July 10, 2019 #18 Posted July 10, 2019 it happened with me who was pregnant with my wife, but I am fond of gambling when my wife is pregnant, if according to you playing gambling for fun it will not interfere with the baby in your womb but if you gamble with hope always win and always spending too much money to make a deposit in my opinion is not good, but during the enjoyment of the game and chat in chatrom maybe it's good for entertainment. hope your baby is healthy and you can give birth perfectly without any problems.
jualid Posted July 10, 2019 #19 Posted July 10, 2019 I'm not a doctor or an expert but i think yes gambling is unsafe when you pregnant. It's better to take a break from gambling and focus on your baby until it's born because i'm afraid it will affect the baby.
williamshennie9 Posted July 12, 2019 #20 Posted July 12, 2019 I don't know if gambling can be dangerous to be honest. But I would rather you gamble than drink or smoke during this time while you are pregnant (or any drugs). That will be much more harmful than gambling.
zulfandina Posted July 12, 2019 #21 Posted July 12, 2019 actually depends on you, if you play gambling and it makes you stressful then it's not good for you too with the baby in your womb ... however, if you bet on the stake and do not choose favor either win or lose, you relax, do not become a burden on the mind, not emotional, not angry, not feeling stressed, not annoyed, then I think it's okay ... Please join in the stake whenever you want. but remember your resting time ...
FotisNt Posted July 12, 2019 #22 Posted July 12, 2019 Not really, gambling doesnt affects health at all while someone does it normally. I guess once your finances are fine to take care of the baby, you can gamble aswell to kill some free time!
ivaylo2000 Posted July 12, 2019 #23 Posted July 12, 2019 This is complete bullshit. My wife was playing while she was pregnant, and that did not harm our child in any way. She is not as big a gambler as I do, but she sometimes likes to retire by betting. And I think the nerves in women are sometimes smaller than those in men. Of all activities, damages can be found for pregnant women. So if you want to protect your baby from harm, stay in a sterile room and eat organic foods, but I do not think it will not be dangerous again. Personally, I think positive thinking is most useful for a pregnant woman. Do not you think constantly for bad things they do not come
Menang Posted July 12, 2019 #24 Posted July 12, 2019 Maybe in gambling when someone lose it can affect their baby helath because of emotion. People say baby can feel and hear what their mother hear.

Now if you are smoking, drinking, and/or doing drugs while playing on Stake, maybe THAT is bad for your baby, but just playing isn't. So much pressure is put on expectant moms, I think the mental health of mothers would greatly improve if everyone just started giving them a break and not feeling like they need to appoint themselves guardians of the growing baby. So ignore the haters!
