Passive income out of a "casino"?!

Hello everyone! So as you might already realised nowadays, Stake for some people has become a "job" which means that they are actually earning free stuff or making "deals" with gamblers. That of course is a huge loss to the casino which means a huge loss to gamblers aswell. I'm actually talking about the deals in Stake's platform (private chat etc). Would you like to see some stricter rules to this kind of "deals"? Which of course means loans and stuff. Let me hear your thoughts!

Even if there were rules they would be impossible to enforce consistently and fairly. Of course if someone is just spamming others with messages that should already be bannable but I don't see how you can regulate people sending money or agreeing to send money to each other.

If anything I would be even more scared to give a loan out to some random guy on the internet who may well disappear tomorrow.

With the title of your post I thought you are going to talk about the ways to make a passive income from casinos, but you are talking something else.

Anyways, I dont think these kind of loans are going to add any loss to casino like stake because eventually people are going to play with that amount on stake and thats what stake needs.  Taking loan for playing is their personal decision and giving loans to other is also a personal decision and they take those risks about loan not getting paid, they cant blame stake for any loss for their own decisions.  I dont think there is any rules needed for that, they already have rules for that.  if someone reports about begging in pm to mod or asking for loans, mods can take care of that.

I don't think there's anything wrong with making deals. It's up to an individual what they choose to do with their money, after all money is only used to make deals. Then again, if deals are the result of a business (Stake) missing out on a lot of money, then they (Stake) should definitely do something to avoid that because a business' primary goal should be profit.

I think this is something that will not be able to be avoided. Loans will stay around. But why would we need to bother. Its up to the guys that want to take loans to gamble to decide if they would like to pay such excessive daily intrest.

I personally would also be able to offer loans. I easily can provide some balance on my account to give out loans but it just is against my principal. Personally I think taking a loan in order to gamble is the most stupid thing you can ever do. I just dont get those people. they know that there is a 95% chance they will bust in casino games so that will leave them with a debt.

But as said we and stake shouldn't botter. If people would like to run a lending business and so long there are idiots that request loans for gambling than let it be. They will burn themselves eventually

The way I see it that the one way to have a steady no risk passive income from a casino is to have a whale(s) under your affiliates referral whereby each time they wager a large amount of money a cut from that amount in terms of affiliates house edge will be yours. ;)

Yeah I don't think stake is really a job to be honest... However, I do think that you can earn a passive income from stake. Through gambling, Loans, and also referring people to the site. Which is a really good passive way to earn some extra cash. But also loaning people can be a bit risky because you never know you can get scammed but yeah.

I do think you can earn a passive income or extra cash from stake. But I wouldn't consider it as a full time job or a part time job :)

You can get passives incomes by doing referrals and contributing forums with your knowledge. I don’t want to recommend about loan things. Because if someone runs without payback, you can’t do anything about that.

There are already rules against loans and trading. However making a passive income off of say the affiliate program doesn't seem like a issue to me. If stake had a issue with it they'd remove it / cut the commission you make off affiliates. I don't see that happening as Stake probably profits enough off races and other events.

Well said.  Stake has made it abundantly clear that getting involved in loans and deals are at the players risk... they will not get involved if someone does not pay back or hold up their end of the deal.  As far as affiliate commission off of referrals for passive income, it is definitely in Stake's best interest to continue this program.  The more new people that we players bring in, the better it is for their chance of profit.  Hopefully some of us are lucky enough to bring in some high rolling whales and collect off of their wagering...

I don't see what difference it makes, in terms of loaning money to gamble. Stake does not condone it and since that person is going to gamble that money, it shouldn't cost the site anything. I don't really know how that stuff works or if they charge interest which I imagine they would otherwise what is the point to do it.

People who are getting vip bonuses most likely lost here and I doubt they'll get enough from those to break even the amount they already lost. If anything they'll probably lose that too.

I think it is close to impossible for Stake to stop the behind the scene loans ... they already closed down the loan section on the forum a long time ago to avoid this issue.   I think that is the best they can do.   One is also not allowed to talk about it on chat which also deters.

to get an income just by activating at the casino we need to find as many referrals as we can get fees from each referral who bets at the casino, it might seem easy to get a referral but we have a hard time getting referrals who are really gambling and betting big in a game. if I get 2 referrals who often race and every day bet tens of btc will make a very good income for me. maybe it's input so we can passively income at the casino.

Very good points.    Referrals, I didn’t even think of that.    So there are more ways to earn than just being a loan shark.

Loans? Nah i'm not sure about that, i think stake will not accept loans and stuff like that. Actually it's really possible to earn a passive income from casino, the most common one is from referrals, find so many active referrals and you can get income everyday from your ref.

Wait what sort of deals are we talking about, because none of what I thought incurs a loss to Stake. I'm curious when you say some deals can make a loss to gamblers and Stake - so who profits? O.o

From what I understood an read from other comments was that they are loaning. But if they are taking loans from players, how exactly would the casino lose? It's just coins going from one account to another. I'm sure Stake is on profit even with all the money we currently have in our wallets. I'm sure they aren't waiting for us to play and lose what we have to go back to profit or something.

Very rarely do you see some people win Bitcoins worth of money. So even if a small amount is "tipped" to another user, which is firstly their wish and secondly no harm to the casino.

I really would like to hear from you what exactly you mean by deals, and surely if the casino loses, they should be aware of it if they already weren't. :)

I understand what you're saying, but how will these "deals" be to Stake's detriment? Stake has already said they don't get involved with any types of deals, so they really have nothing to lose if players do decide to make deals via PM.

No rules will help. What will prevent people who are engaged in this communication not on Stake in a private chat, but some other messenger. And I think that it is not unprofitable for Stake, because people make these operations with their own money, not casino money.

What deals are you referring to? What are people doing? I have been approached by people trying to get affiliates and stuff which is almost kinda stupid because they think you will trust them when they're trying to hustle stake and at the end of it, you...
