winzkie Posted July 10, 2019 #1 Posted July 10, 2019 You might have at some point asked yourself this question:ย Which crypto should I play on?ย Should I play on high price or the low price cryptos. Some people have the opinion that the high price crypto are hard to play. While some have the opinion that the low price crypto are hard to play. Who is right is hard to tell? Specially when you just start playing the game. Even more confusion comes when one will tell play on low price and one will suggest to play on high price. Which one do you prefer to play? High or Low or Both? Does the price really matter?
cooldemos Posted July 10, 2019 #2 Posted July 10, 2019 It matters when I lose, not when I'm playing to be honest. losing 100$ isn't like losing 10k$. but playing with .1 eth or .1 btc is the same
Darkai Posted July 10, 2019 #3 Posted July 10, 2019 Depends on your bankroll and your playstyle. If you play on something like dogecoin, your minimum wager is thousands of times less than it is with bitcoin, so lower tier cryptos like stellar doge etc are superior if you're doing something such as autobetting or scripting. Otherwise it doesn't matter too much and its just purely personal preference. I prefer playing on mid-range and low range cryptos (LTC for example) because I personally like it when the pure number attached to my bet is larger, it just makes me feel like it is worth more so I tend to play safer and more conservatively. Safer = Better % of profiting for me Nothing exactly to prove that, but I just feel that it is worth so much more when im wagering with something where I don't need to type a mililon 0s just to get my desired bet amount in USD *cough* bitcoin *cough*. How about yourself?
barbaris Posted July 10, 2019 #4 Posted July 10, 2019 For me it really matters. I start to play more safely and I bet based on the price of Bitcoin. Therefore, for me the price of Bitcoin plays a significant role in the implementation of bets.
ceastem Posted July 10, 2019 #5 Posted July 10, 2019 It really matters a lot. I won't waste my time doing martingale with 100 dogeshi basebet cause it will only waste my time. It's a lot different if it is 100 satoshis cause if you played long enough, that can become big Also, I think the amount wagered that is required for VIP is recorded in USD of the current price of the coin we are playing, therefore it really matters if you're aiming for a higher vip star.
FotisNt Posted July 10, 2019 #6 Posted July 10, 2019 Sometimes yes, sometimes no. For example, it matters for me when I wanna win a specific amount which means that I've to convert the coin to Euro. Although, it doesn't matter that much when I instantly cashout on paypal or MasterCard while there is no need to care about the price anymore.
concertrate Posted July 10, 2019 #7 Posted July 10, 2019 I think it's psychological. I feel better wagering.ย 0.001 eth than the btc equivalent. But on the other hand the xrp or doge equivalents just seem too much... It's weird... Crazy how it so silly... I guess I like eth nowadays also because of tx costs compared to btc
williamshennie9 Posted July 10, 2019 #8 Posted July 10, 2019 It most definitely matters to me. When the price is high, I tend to bet smaller and more conservatively compared to when it is low, and I don't mind if I bet a bit recklacely. Of course, with the current price, I am betting small.
nattekut Posted July 10, 2019 #9 Posted July 10, 2019 when I am gambling with crypto I never take the $ value into account. when I play with crypto on stake or bet on sports with crypto my initial idea is to win more crypto. The value of crypto only determines what I deposit. A couple months ago I made a 0.05 and 0.1BTC deposit but then BTC only was 3500$. I wouldn't even think to deposit this amounts at current value
Aazzah Posted July 10, 2019 #10 Posted July 10, 2019 It generally bothers me when I bust the amount of crypto I have. I then check how much it is worth afterwards... This is the struggle with me I don't generally check the price of the crypto that frequently and I think it is a problem because, you never really know your exact amount of money in usd, gbp, eur because of the amount of times the prices change ย But other than that, I think the prices matter to me when I gamble crypto or any currency because I like to know how much I am at.
ScooterPi Posted July 10, 2019 #11 Posted July 10, 2019 Bitcoin price matters a whole lot to me for deciding when to cash out!ย When price is low, as it was some months ago...I might play for a much higher tally than I would be willing to do at this point with value around $13k usd.ย ย
Etude Posted July 10, 2019 #12 Posted July 10, 2019 Nope for me the only time cryptocurrency prices matters are when I am about to buy or sell it for / with fiat while when I gamble I only think in terms of handling the cryptocurrency's amount.
CntryBoy Posted July 11, 2019 #13 Posted July 11, 2019 The price matters to an extent for me.ย I mostly enjoy playing with either ETH or LTC because I like hunting high multipliers on Dice, mostly 900x and above.ย If I want to start with say $100, I'd much rather start with something like 0.4ETH or 0.75LTC rather than 0.008BTC.ย When hunting those high multipliers, it's much better to have "more" crypto, even though it is aย lesser valued cryptoย due to long ass red streaks while hunting.ย Iย am much betterย able to endure long red streaks with 0.75ย than I am with 0.008ย of whatever,
bobdole Posted July 11, 2019 #14 Posted July 11, 2019 It matters in the sense that you know how much you're betting and what your target balance is to withdraw. When btc was only at $3000 then I was making much larger bets compared to now when the price is at nearly $12,000. Then my target was .1 now its just a quarter of that lol so my point is yes it does matter I don't care how much I have I only care about how much it's worth ย
GKD09 Posted July 11, 2019 #15 Posted July 11, 2019 17 hours ago, winzkie said: You might have at some point asked yourself this question:ย Which crypto should I play on?ย Should I play on high price or the low price cryptos. This was actually my first question when I had just joined Stake. To deposit to which coin ย Because when I first asked support, they said you can't exchange within the site and I didn't know about Dinabot, so I had to really think about it. I went with LTC. Turns out its one of my worst coins lol. I prefer the higher ones like BTC and ETH, and love to play when the prices are lower and try to keep stacking as it goes higher and higher. The again if it comes down some more I try to win. But the other good thing about the higher price, is wagering. With the same amount of coins you get a much larger wager since the prices are higher and therefore you wager much more than you would have when it was lower. Now its been few months andย I have all the coins including XRP, but BCH very very little that I don't consider it much ย For some reason I really hate BCH although its the 2nd most expensive coin here.ย
jualid Posted July 11, 2019 #16 Posted July 11, 2019 It doesn't really matter to me, because when i bet, i'm not thinking about the usd price per coins, just bet regular like usual but it's become matter to me when the price increase so high like what happen to bitcoin right now.
Enzo Posted July 11, 2019 #17 Posted July 11, 2019 For me, yes it does. Very much so, If BTC is at $25k (hypothetically) no way am I gonna play with that because the amount of sats I get for my money is way less. I'd rather play with something more stable that doesn't have me wondering how much I'll be getting for X amount of USD. I pretty much stopped gambling with BTC when it was over $13k in the last year or two.
htetaungxx Posted July 11, 2019 #18 Posted July 11, 2019 it doesn't metter on me. but sometimes when i need to buy to bet, btc price is hight. so i got allittle trouble with this that's all mostly i nothing happen on me price is hight or low
artizykristy Posted July 11, 2019 #19 Posted July 11, 2019 I prefer to play cheap coins, because I am a greedy type of gambler if I play expensive coins it will definitely be very fast bust differently with cheap coins. Cheap coins also help me to cheat myself as if I will have a lot of balanceย ย
cukup2 Posted July 11, 2019 #20 Posted July 11, 2019 ย maybe I don't really see the price of a coin but I like to consider it from the total value of the coin. if I have 0.01 eth and I have 5000 doge then I will start with doge coins because in terms of value far more doge than eth, so if I lose playing the doge coin I can recover with eth coins and if I win the value is much more big of what I lost on doge coins.
hillowner45 Posted July 11, 2019 #21 Posted July 11, 2019 Its all the same in the end no matter the price of the coin. Everything gets scaled. Personally I play according to the current fiat price of the coin and scale up or down from there. I only use crypto to gamble with so the price is meaningless to me.
yololife222 Posted July 11, 2019 #22 Posted July 11, 2019 Hey, I hawe questened my selfe this so many times like i hawe btc and i think should i exchange or keep on gambling with btc.Ussually i exchange to that price which i forget the price of it so i cant think how much im betting and i bett more becose when i know the price of what im betting im always do small payouts.
heisa Posted July 11, 2019 #23 Posted July 11, 2019 It doesnt really matter if youre playing with it since stake dont use dollars or euros but just crypto If you want to cash out then it does matter.
SLFJ Posted July 11, 2019 #24 Posted July 11, 2019 No, I don't think it really matters, atleast for me, I can play with any crypto and then maybe change it up with Dinabot if I want to withdraw, but I don't really to care which crypto to play with, because every crypto gives me joy, but outstading 2 cryptos for me are ltc (litecoin), btc (bitcoin) and I probably like to play with them the most I guess, I don't play with other cryptos like I do with these 2.
kayke94 Posted July 12, 2019 #25 Posted July 12, 2019 to my opinion the price dus really matter, i have been getting the feeling when the price is high as now its waaay harder to win anything at all and you gotta play with alot less coin for the same amount of money
