All users will answer and question on chat trivia / new rules - not do trivia on chat channel english for example... I was sad when i saw tutorial with trivia bot in topic on forum but trivia deleted and unavailable for users only. Only supports can do it. Regards.
barbaris Posted July 12, 2019 #2 Posted July 12, 2019 I also miss trivia, but I do not think that this requires a separate channel. You just need to tighten the rules for trivia. It seems to me that it will be much better.

And it sucks that one situation where some one was a bone head had to ruin it for all of us. Such a bummer cuz I also really enjoyed trivia bot. It was a much quicker and easier way of doing trivias in chat. Otherwise it has a tendency to get really really spammy really really quickly.

Trivias are random and its best left like that rather than telling users to come to the chatroom to make some trivias. For me I wouldn't like to switch between english and trivia chat. The challenge chatroom makes sense since it has a particular time when it occurs, and that offers way more spam so that's why they had made one solely for that. But yes I would like the trivia bot though. Glad that support can use it, but it'll be better if users can use it too, and we can then distinguish between fake trivias too (2+2 ones).

CntryBoy Posted July 13, 2019 #9 Posted July 13, 2019 I like the idea of reopening it to all users as well, but I am kind of torn as it causes ridiculous amounts of spam and people just act like idiots. It is sad that it took only the actions of a few boneheads to ruin it for everyone, but sadly that is the way it always goes. I'm not sure it requires its own chat room, just more control over it and insta-mutes for the people acting like fools all the time.

Couldn’t they change the minimum tip amount to avoid this ? I think this would help limit the spam for trivia while still giving us players the chance to host our own trivia. I can say I have not seen mods or support using the trivia feature either. Anyone actually seen them using it ? Has it been confirmed that it is only for mod use or is it maybe under construction and people are simply speculating ?
Aazzah Posted July 13, 2019 #11 Posted July 13, 2019 In all honest I do miss the chat bot trivia command. It was a whole lot easier to use rather than doing them manually. But, to be fair... It was causing a ton of spam because ignorant people doing 10k eth trivs and stuff. I do get that they want to make trivias to make people happy and excited, But it was getting out of hand. As much as I do miss it I kinda do think that they made the right choice. Another thing, They could just add a thing for minimum trivia amount or the could change the minimum tip amount so that there would be less spammy trivia's. Unless, You get the odd rich guy spamming $1 trivia's haha!

polor12 Posted July 13, 2019 #14 Posted July 13, 2019 well the trivia was made open for the players staff and moderator but now players do not have access to it because of the trivia questions being so stupid that it actually mad a few players dumb down a little. seriously like a question like this. .. 6+9,.. 15 right wrong .. 69. stuff like that and some people dont even pay out oh well it is what it is..

Not sure if it's a good idea. First of all it another chat room will not solve the problem of spam because people will spam there regardless of what is the name of the room. Some people will try to get the answer right and will spam with answers, some people will just talk stuff that has nothing to do with trivia. The only solution is to make changes to the chat rooms so when trivia bot is asking the question that question stays at the top of the chat window. This way people can talk as much as they want and we will still see the question. Because the problem sometimes is that question goes up so fast and it's gone. If the question stays at the top of the chat more people will participate in trivias, because they will see that trivia is going on. Sometimes when you are focused on gambling you don't look what is going on in the chat and don't join or miss trivias.
cukup2 Posted July 13, 2019 #17 Posted July 13, 2019 right, I hope there is a special rom for trivia like rom chalenge, so we can do trivia on the rom. but in my opinion if there is a special rom for trivia it will still be a problem when all languages will gather in the ROM and later it will cause confusion as well, because maybe everyone wants to share some trivia with trivia and you can imagine 1 user from each different language doing trivia together.

Players should tip any ammount they wamt actually, that doesn't cause spam at all.

I think stake would be able to make a bot similar to rainbot where you send an amount but instead it asks a random trivia question to chat. Just a simple Google search I found this site that generates random trivia questions http://www.randomtriviagenerator.com/#/ Some devs should be able to make a bot that pulls questions from there. This way we can have authentic trivia questions without spam or without needing a mod to do it.

Excellent without troll with question. My ideas are over about trivia-bot, i talked with support about 5 min ago time so she told peoples will discussion here. They agree or not. Etude Posted July 13, 2019 #25 Posted July 13, 2019 A good idea in order to bring back the trivia bot for normal users would be to raise the minimum reward amount to at least 0.0001BTC and 0.001 ETH respectively mainly those two cryptocurrencies to avoid spammy trivias.
