wngo123 Posted July 15, 2019 #1 Posted July 15, 2019 Do you think Libra (announced Facebook coin) should be added to the stake one day? Probably most of you say yes, but the question is would that be allowed by Facebook? We don’t know much about Libra and the rules that will come with it, but we all know how Mark Zuckerberg operates. I think the Libra will be limited only to facebook and it would be impossible to gamble with it. The only wallets for libra will be of course facebook wallets so facebook will have full control over it. For if example stake would want to add Libra to their website their account will be banned. I’m sure Libra will have many restrictions and one of them will be gambling restrictions.
allisonn Posted July 15, 2019 #2 Posted July 15, 2019 I think for better or worse, it's going to test many barriers and implementations for sure. Even being controlled is no real problem if people are determined enough, it's difficult to police every single usage. For example, let's say through word of mouth I claim to provide X service through Facebook, but when you send zuck bucks to me, I tip you the corresponding amount of crypto on Stake. Things like these are going to happen everywhere and Facebook will have to handle the fallout.

I think Stake is very smart in this sense and they will not use a coin that is not reputable and has a good history behind it.
Babagucci Posted July 15, 2019 #4 Posted July 15, 2019 I think we need to find out more about the coin and how it plays out once it's officially live. I have a feeling the coin will be over hyped just because Facebook is making the coin, it will probably end up being crap. I haven't had a chance to read the whitepaper yet but I do want to to learn more about it. I want to know what Facebook wants to get out of it, what there real plans are. It will certainly be interesting to watch it play out, especially on a political level.
cryptofly Posted July 15, 2019 #5 Posted July 15, 2019 Would be very interesting to know why Stake decided to include xrp coin in the list of coins to gamble with. This will give us a pretty good idea of what we can expect when looking for a coin to be added in the gambling list. I don`t know about Libra as this is a yet a project, we will have to wait for it to go alive and see how is doing its development and see if it is reaching targets. Mass adoption clearly is the most important issue for the ecosystem and if Stake is looking to get its user database larger than ever then we will soon be gambling or trading with libra, or some other coin. So, why was xrp added latelty in the gambling coin list? Good luck.
Mistake Posted July 15, 2019 #6 Posted July 15, 2019 Yup i saw that , Thats will be easy for get refreal or smth like that and maybe theyre will be interested for try stake,Also thats showed how much you win
CntryBoy Posted July 16, 2019 #7 Posted July 16, 2019 I believe it is still way too early to know what is going to happen with Libra, and the possible use cases for it. For all we know, it may turn into one of the many many shitcoins out there and fall flat on its face....
Etude Posted July 16, 2019 #8 Posted July 16, 2019 I guess the best answer to this question presently would be a "maybe" since the Libra coin itself has not yet been officially released yet but yes there is alot of hype surrounding it.
yololife222 Posted July 16, 2019 #9 Posted July 16, 2019 Hey, I think and i hope it wont cuse on stake wee alredy hawe to many curency's. From p[ersonaly perspective im 99% sure they wont add it to stake. They might add it if the comunity (us) would ask to add so for excample if wee creat manu posts talking about it theres 60/40 chance that they will hear us out and will add it.
jualid Posted July 16, 2019 #10 Posted July 16, 2019 If Libra become popular and get into top 10 cryptocurrency, then yes it might possible added to stake. Let's see first how is this coin libra become, i hope it reach the expectation.
williamshennie9 Posted July 16, 2019 #11 Posted July 16, 2019 Since Libra will be a stablecoin, I think that it will be a good idea to add it to Stake if it becomes popular. I think that if it works as intended, it will be a huge success in the crypto industry.

Of course, if Libra makes a name for itself, just like BTC, ETH and others, then why not? The more coins we can choose to play with, the better.. I think. 😂😂😂😂😂
SLFJ Posted July 16, 2019 #13 Posted July 16, 2019 Do you think Libra (announced Facebook coin) should be added to the stake one day? No, because it will have a better security and I don't think it will be able to be gambled with, just cause its a facebooks coin, it's not like some joke coin that has made for laughs and giggles but then gets much attention from people like dogecoins, but I think it will have a security scratch so I kind of think that 50% of it happening.
Kippo Posted July 16, 2019 #14 Posted July 16, 2019 If it’s added, I think more traders will come into stake to trade/exchange that libra into btc/eth/ltc/doge/bch/xrp because these coins are more useable than libra. After that stake will add more rules about tip/exchange and some other rules to prevent free trading
Clavem Posted July 16, 2019 #15 Posted July 16, 2019 I think that in principle no, it would be an exclusive cryptocurrency in a few services and platforms but over time who knows ... Although there is some news where they are trying to avoid the advance of the cryptocurrency
barbaris Posted July 16, 2019 #16 Posted July 16, 2019 I think it’s too early to talk about it now, but someone knows that it can really be added to Stake. I also think that there will be many restrictions on this currency. Facebook strictly follows this. It’s not at all clear to me where and how Libra can be used.
cukup2 Posted July 16, 2019 #17 Posted July 16, 2019 I never thought that the stake would add new coins because in addition to Libra coins there are still many coins that have been circulating for a long time and the prices are quite high such as dash, monero, xmr, coins are popular and the price is high but I expect stakes don't add new coins at the casino before they have their own exchange, let us as players can exchange coins without having to go through a third party.
Aazzah Posted July 16, 2019 #18 Posted July 16, 2019 Hey buddy. I have seen this on facebook too. However, I do not think it should be added to stake. Only for the sole fact that it wont fit in. In a good way though... I reckon that if they was to add this coin... There will be a ton more new users to come on the site. So there probably would be a lot more referrals on stake. And if they added it on Primedice there would be an equal amount of new users on there too. I think in general it would be good for users but I personally don't think it would be a good idea. But that's probably just me
davinmark Posted July 16, 2019 #19 Posted July 16, 2019 Since the Libra is gonna out in 2020 i think we cant predict it yet how can it goes with Libra and Stake. but if the rules are not complicated i think stake gonna add a Libra coin. but back at it, just wait till they just release the Libra Coin
htetaungxx Posted July 16, 2019 #20 Posted July 16, 2019 i think it will not be come too quickly, and it will take atleast 1years or more than that. but hope to come as soon as posible.
bobdole Posted July 16, 2019 #21 Posted July 16, 2019 No, I don't want anything to do with Libra as I really don't trust Facebook. With the seemingly limitless amount of cryptos out there now I just don't see the point, especially with the anonymous aspect of stake, the last thing I want is Facebook tracking what I'm using a coin for. On the other side of it, Libra might end up being more stable than other cryptos as it's backed by a large company that's subject to regulations/us laws.
Kate Posted July 17, 2019 #22 Posted July 17, 2019 Could you imagine if this would happen ? Like it would be great no doubt but just think of how vast it would be and bring in so many more players to the site that is for sure.
