Honestly seeing some of the Asian and African teams get more slots makes the group stage odds way more chaotic, I’m already eyeing a Senegal dark horse run if the bracket opens up right.

nah i actually think it waters things down a bit. more teams sounds fun but the quality dropoff in the group stage will be real, some matches might feel like foregone conclusions ya know? still, the chaos factor for betting will be wild so i cnat fully complain

I actually enjoy the expanded format because it lets teams like Mali or Uzbekisan show up when they normally would miss out, plus it just means more games to bet on if you're into that.
