Kate Posted July 17, 2019 #1 Posted July 17, 2019 So you all know that newbies are welcome here as you all know but i was thinking as people make new accounts i feel like for stake to be not be maeked as faked i guess they could add a message or popup that would allow them to change seeds because this would allow users to not accuse the site when they join and they loose. I believe that this would help stake a lot and stop those fake accusers that would just ruin the reputation of the site. So what do you guys think ? Would this be a good add on ? Or nah ?

I think this would be a decent idea. But most people don’t really understand how seeds work anyways so even if they made there own seed and lost, they would still blame Stake for his and call the site rigged and a scam.

I would have to say I agree with this. If folks come here blindly to play, they may or may not understand the meaning of provably fair. If they understand it then they should know that Stake would not be at fault. If they do understand it, then they may just claim that seeds came from Stake, so either way they would view it poorly given that they don't understand how it works.
williamshennie9 Posted July 19, 2019 #4 Posted July 19, 2019 This sounds like a good idea. However, Stake cannot be blamed, because allow users to change the seed at any point in time. Also, it might confuse users who are not familiar with seeds and how they work.

But in gambling you always take the risk to loose. So even though if you offer the pop up and after that they still bust than they still accuse the site to be rigged and taken their money. This is a common situation that has been around for decades and will never go away

Many people don't change seeds and are doing fine. Idon't do that very often. I heard they are others who almost never do this. Changing the seeds doesn't guarantee anything. I don't think new users will even understand what it is all about. So I don't think it's necessary.

I think each one who joins should thoroughly go through the site and see what it has and doesn't before depositing and most of all before accusing the site. I do so myself, and give a sort of mental evaluation and the impression the site gives at the first glance. Surely, not everyone would do so, but I don't think the site should be asking the user to change their seeds. The user if he thinks the rolls are unfair, should probably contact support and ask some questions, or should just change the seeds themselves and see. If they have been to many sites or have been gambling for a while they would know that losing a lot is also part of the game. If one is very quick to judge that a casino is rigged, even if this message pops up they would most likely think the same still. They would think the site is trying to cover up their rigged site by a message, which they would think is a rigged seed as well. There's no point trying to get such users, I think. The knowledgeable ones would stay! Even if they did, there definitely should be a way to disable it, as it could be annoying to some users.

Few users are know about how the seeds worked and when to change seeds to change the losing streak.
