Sped Posted July 18, 2019 #1 Posted July 18, 2019 I have played basically only mines with a few exceptions when I play on stake, because I feel it is the most "in your hands" and theres so much you can do with it. Recently, I have gone through a lot of changes on how I play mines, the biggest being how big my multiplier I hunt for is. When I first started mines, I strictly went for 18x-40x multipliers or even up to 200x, and didn't really try to play the low multiplier game. But recently, I have been doing bigger bets for lower multipliers(3x-7x). They all usually end up ripping me, but while the bigger multiplier takes longer to rip, I feel as though I build up higher playing lower multipliers. What do all of you think, do you think low multipliers and bigger bets is the way to go, or is going with a small starting balance and going for crazy high multipliers the better way to play?
GonerGenesis Posted July 18, 2019 #2 Posted July 18, 2019 I love to hit high multipliers but it always gives me the creeps when I run into a bad red streak and of course you need a reasonable bankroll. So for now I choose my multipliers kinda random to just get one or two heart attacks the day.
Enzo Posted July 18, 2019 #3 Posted July 18, 2019 Depends what game i'm playing. If i'm on crash I like to try high x's. On dice I'll play 2-4x a lot. Some under some over. I need to get better at keno and mines cause thats where the real big multipliers are.
Babagucci Posted July 21, 2019 #4 Posted July 21, 2019 I do the same thing, I usually go for higher multiplers around the 21x range although it has become quite difficult to even get these ranges. Perhaps I should try the lower end as well to see how it goes. What I really hate is if you move to fast in the game or from one game to the next the game will automatically lose. You have never seen anything like it and frankly it looks like a bug to me because that shouldn't be happening. Â
nattekut Posted July 21, 2019 #5 Posted July 21, 2019 I used to use mines as a slowly bankroll builder. I mostly only used the 1 and 2 mines fields. they gave small multipliers but even small multipliers make big balances. I remember once I made over 1.5 full ltc with only 25k litoshi. But recently that isnt paying of anymore. so from time to time I switch to the bot and chase high multipliers
HighDamage Posted July 21, 2019 #6 Posted July 21, 2019 I play both. sometimes using small Payout if you want to add a little of my Balance. And using Payout is great if I have a little balance. It is also very difficult to choose one, because if you choose Big Payout = upset if it hits on prerolls. While small payouts are also likely to be hit by long red Â
wcmawiii Posted July 21, 2019 #7 Posted July 21, 2019 That good question. I play both if my balance high i play high if my balance low i bet low. It just depends on how much my balance are and also sometimes many times i just cant hit anything on bet high than after I change lower bet and hit. That is upset me.Â
Kate Posted July 22, 2019 #8 Posted July 22, 2019 I feel luckier when i go for lower multipliers those which are arpund 15x these multipliers are pretty much common for me i feel so and is like luckier for me to hunt them 😛 than higher multipliers. Â
Aazzah Posted July 22, 2019 #9 Posted July 22, 2019 hey there sped. I honestly feel like going for a higher multiplier over than 5 on mines... I feel like it is a lot more likely to hit. I also do feel like when I Go for a 5x it never ever seems to hit. I might get the odd win a couple times... But honestly, I feel like yolo-ing it is a lot more fun and more likely to hit. I just like to go for a riskier multiplier because if it doesn't hit for a while I can actually understand why it doesnt hit but for a 5x multiplier... and it doesn't hit for like 10 rolls... I get so infuriated it is unreal xD. But yeah have a good day stakers!
barbaris Posted July 22, 2019 #10 Posted July 22, 2019 Yes, it really seems to me that hunting for big multipliers is more profitable and increases your balance, and small multipliers destroy balance. Although it would seem to be the opposite. I like hunting for big multipliers more, despite the fact that it takes more time.
DoremiCloud Posted July 23, 2019 #11 Posted July 23, 2019 SInce I'm barely new here, Mines is the very first game I have played and is still playing. It's comfy and nice. Have not had much chance to profit big here yet but I'm trying to learn. So far been trying to get away from at least 10 bombs for now. :-) And like other gambling, I'll probably go for bigger multiplier as it tends to give you bigger profit, though the risk is higher, the payout will definitely be worth it.
williamshennie9 Posted July 23, 2019 #12 Posted July 23, 2019 I feel super unlucky with high multipliers. In all my time I have been part of Stake, I have never hit 1000x. However, I tend to have good luck on low multipliers on dice and blackjack as examples.

I usually play with 3 mines. I tried to play with 1 mine. It works great but then I began to loose the same as with 3 mines but the profit was less so I moved back to 3 mines. I also tried to play with larger amount of mines and it didn't work out either. So the best for me is 3 mines I guess and I will keep it this way. Sometimes I will change the number of mines to spice things a bit, but that's about it.
SLFJ Posted August 4, 2019 #14 Posted August 4, 2019 I feel like going for lower ones is pretty dumb if you want to catch a big win, I usually would re-try a big multiplier a lot of times rather than using a low multiplier and go negative, in my personal opinion it is pretty dumb and not well thought out, if you want to hit big, you gotta think good. Kind regards, slfj.Â
