I kinda push back on the Michu shouts cause that whole Swansea side was built around him, then they sold their best players and the system collapsed. It was less him falling off a cliff and more the team around him disintegrating.

Michu was basically unplayable that year but the way Swansea just disintegrated the squad around him in a single summer is still wild to think about. Felt like he was set up to fail after they cashed in on everyone else.

I always think of Roque Santa Cruz at Blackburn, he was scoring headers for fun that one season under Mark Hughes. Then he moved to City and just became a permanent sick note, I remember my uncle tearing up his fantasy football team over it.
