How I lost 1,2 million satoshi

On Saturday i withdrew 5000 satoshi from forum rewards and was able to fast and smoothly go up to 600k satoshi. I used almost all the games to get to that amount. I was changing games frequently, but not mines. Everything was going excellent and then I decided to play mines. Wanted to speed the process up a little but (1 million satoshi was my goal for that day), i began doing bets 10k each. Aaaand... it's not what you think.... I didn't bust. I won! I was able to go up to 1,2 million. I reached my goal. I was tired and my plan was to finish gambling and begin the next day. But for some reason I decided to continue to play and I didn't use my previous strategy but continue to play mines since it was so easy to go from 600k to 1,2m I wanted more. My original goal was 1m and I should be damn happy about 1,2m which was way beyond my goal. But now I began to gamble without any goal. I got a headache because I was too long in front of the computer. I needed the break, but I continue.... In about 2 hours I lost 1,2m.. went down to 25k I don't understand why I continue to play when I had such wonderful day and my goal was reached. It's not the first time wen I bust like this but previously it was on HiLo or plinko. I learnt my lesson not to trust plinko, so I played plinko only for a while. Still was able to win 130x four times! Can you believe that? But then Mines... I usually don't play mines... What a wonderful day it could be if I just stopped at my original goal.

That's impressive. Usually when I do things like that I do it in dice. That's where I'm most successful. 

I would never try plinko to make big profit cause I just don't seem to have luck when I play that. Congrats on your win and sorry for the future loss

Firstly, damn that was an impressive run there, turn 5k sats into 1.2m sats. That is what you got when you become greedy, should just withdraw all your profits and try it again from 5k sats forum again, sorry for your loss.

lol. since you shared how you lost only just a little over a mil of sats. i think i can share mines with you.. how i lost .25 btc to a fight that the judges had wrong.. i lost  over 2 grand on 1 bet on the 20th of july on the pac vs thurman.. .25 gone just like that.. there my story...

Your greedy mind made you lose 5k to 600k is the big profit. If I got that amount and goals was 1 mil , I would safe 500k into valve  for not to lose back everything. Next time when you really get big profit, just remember remember how much did you start with. We always get greedy when we get so much green and we are not satisfied with the things we have.

For me it already would have been a cashout for sure. since a couple of weeks I am exclusively playing with what I make with coupons and forum. Since I started doing that my goal is easy 'reach the 200k min withdraw and cash out.' Until now I managed to withdraw something around 0.018BTC without making a single deposit. But it takes strong balls to stick to the plan and withdraw every time. I am a gambler to and sometimes it starts itching to keep gambling when reached the 200k but then I think ' I started with free money and now I am on 20 bucks. If you do this regularly you can easily make 200-300 bucks every month without depositing

This is a prime example of how greed can cause you to bust. I would suggest withdrawing 90% of your profit while you are ahead, and then if you don't get more wins, at least you banked that 90%.

Damn, I don't think that on that day you were very unlucky, next if you get the same opportunity, try to set a withdrawal target, so when you bust, you have the rest of your profit that day.

We've all been there at some point I think.  When I first started playing here and other dice sites, I would frequently build up to my goal and instead of being smart and cashing out like I planned, I continued to play and eventually lost most or all of it back.  Live and learn and always stick to your goals.

Indeed it's probably pure greed however when I decided to continue to play my balance was 1,2m so I felt very very safe. This is one of my problem. When I have big balance I'm not thinking about possibility of busting because I imagine all those bests I can make with the balance and I think there is no way to bust that. It didn't happen to me for the first time. I was there before. It repeats over and over. Very sad to see I make the same mistakes. After my balance was melting then the panic kicks in and I continue to chase my old balance until complete busting. It's weird that even when I had 50k I still hoped that I will get my old balance back. Why? Because First I went from 600k to 1,2m then back down to 85k and then again to 500k, and again back to 50k... It was like rollercoaster. Then back to 25k and that was the end. I left that $2 for the next day and next day I busted it. 

You are right I should at least put 20 - 30% of my balance to the vault when I had 1,2m. This is what I'm going to do next time. To have insurance. I'm even thinking about depositing 20k to vault out of every 100k I win. 

For those of you who say that I should withdraw 1,m or at least part of it. i didn't want to because I'm hunting for something much bigger. I want to make 0.1 btc. That is my main goal. But it's long term goal. my 1 million goal was just for that that. My plan was to stay with 1 million and play the next day try to get to 1,5 or 2 million and so on until i reach 0.1 btc. Looks like I wanted to speed the process up and maybe hoped that I could make 1,5 or 2 million in one day.  It is possible and I can do that because last year I made 4,6m in one day.

The strategy was very simple. I went on HiLo and turned 5k into 40k by playing aggressively 500 - 1000 satoshi bets, when I reached 40k switch the game. In the past I would continue to play hilo hoping to reach 100k but it's very difficult with one game. I changed to Plinko and made around 20k , then I turned to Roullete and played 1k bets on 0 and won. I came back to plinko and won 130x (1k bet), that gave me something below 200k I went back to Hilo playing 1k bets (not larger bets - this way even if I fail many bets I still could do many, many mistakes. then I decided to play blackjack with 1k bets to hunt for forum challenge. This way I won like another 20 k- 25k just by hunting that challenge. Then I was switching between Hilo, plinko, roullete, blackjack, a little bit crash but not much. I had a lot of luck on roullete, with bets 3k I hit 0 a few times thats 100k prize. One time I got 0 and then I rolled again and got another 0  Plinko I had 130x four times. Of course it was up and down , so it took several hours to reach 600k but when I did that I decided to move to mines and play 10k aggressively and was able to reach after 2 hours 1,2m and then my story of total failure begins (I should stop at that point espeically that it was 2 am and I was really tired). I played from 5 pm to 2 am with break for coffee, tea, and food. That was crazy.
