izara Posted July 22, 2019 #1 Posted July 22, 2019 Recently, on July 19, Bitcoin enthusiast Tim Draper was on CNBC speaking on how the mainstream coverage of cryptocurrency has been a positive event for the crypto community in general. Initially, Tim spoke about the importance of cryptocurrency. Tim Draper believes that: “ it’s good to have people talk about it and thus they realize how important Bitcoin is gonna be for the planet”. He claims that Bitcoin will make the world a much better place to live in another ten to fifteen years. barbaris Posted July 22, 2019 #2 Posted July 22, 2019 Maybe he is right. But these are just words and too long a forecast. Undoubtedly, Bitcoin has great prospects, but only time will tell what will happen in ten years. I think that this time is not enough to change.

That would end the era of too big to fail and I think is one of the reasons they are so freaked out over Libra. While I despise Facebook, Libra brings home that crypto really does make it possible to be your own bank. The regulatory storm is going to be fierce but Draper, in my view, has a point!

Enzo Posted July 31, 2019 #11 Posted July 31, 2019 I agree with this man, the coverage it's getting, negative or positive, is good for Crypto. It makes people more aware of what has been around nearly 10 years. More people need to be educated on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in my eyes. I'm almost at the point where I think it should be offered as a class in college/university. I think the more people hear about it, the more likely it is to be adopted into everyday things even more then it already is.
