Kate Posted July 24, 2019 #1 Posted July 24, 2019 I wanted to ask will it be possible for stake developers to develop an app for the website for mobile ? Like just keep the apk for download on the forum or the site no need to release it in the playstore so that wouldn't cause a problem at all and no bans on the app would happen. Just make an app for the site so it is playable for the mobile users because i still feel like when playing on the mobile site i feel like i am not really playing on stake. So what do you guys think ? Do you think stake should make an app available on the site for download for the mobile players ?
williamshennie9 Posted July 24, 2019 #2 Posted July 24, 2019 The reason that Stake has not made an app, which has been requested many times, is because casino apps are apparently not allowed on the app store (for android and IOS). I guess that is the main reason why they don't develop an app.
Hoffguy Posted July 24, 2019 #3 Posted July 24, 2019 yeah but kate said just have it downloadable but not in playstore, unibet do this, you can download the app from their website for instance for poker, maybe would be nice for mobile users but i guess it would be a lot of development and especially if need two for ios and android and already so much effort go into making stake improve each day maybe mobile apps not in playstore would be too much work .
barbaris Posted July 24, 2019 #4 Posted July 24, 2019 What is the point of creating an application for mobile devices and spending money on it? If you can just go from your device to Stake and play without any problems.
StakePay Posted July 24, 2019 #5 Posted July 24, 2019 Stake website working fine on mobile device. so there is no need to develop android app or ios app. Are u facing any issue while using website on mobile device so give ur suggestion to support team, the will help u.

I don't see any problems with this. 19 minutes ago, barbaris said: What is the point of creating an application for mobile devices and spending money on it? It would be free obviously...by creating a dedicated application, they would be able to fine tune the layout and mechanics more so than playing on a browser.

Stake is acting under a curaçao 'gaming' license with this isnt a gambling license. So that's why the app wouldn't be allowed on both stores. But I do not see any reason of stake launching an app. I just think everything is working fine though regular browser access. to my opinion the design is responsive enough to have fun on mobile devices without needing an app.
cukup2 Posted July 24, 2019 #8 Posted July 24, 2019 good input for management stakes so that it can be considered indeed I also as a player who likes to play gambling on phon like to feel less satisfied when playing. Hopefully if the stake wants to develop an application for our Android web as a player who plays on Phonebook, it will be a little satisfied with the application that is given stake

I don't know much about various gambling licenses, but I guess it makes sense that if they don't have the correct licenses to operate, then they won't be allowed to put an app on the app store.

I am sure in the future when it is possible as I am sure laws will change Stake will be one if the the first.
niki014 Posted July 24, 2019 #11 Posted July 24, 2019 i wouldnt use it i hate playing this type of games on mobile only games i play from mobile is slots and i dont rly play them from phone but from an ipad so 😜
nikowin88 Posted July 24, 2019 #12 Posted July 24, 2019 Well I would like to have an app. Apps can add features. On the other I always play on mobile since always so I'm used to play to stake as it is today. And it s already very handy so I don't see really what an app could add. Not to say that all need to be updated and are maybe more vulnerable to hacking so I totally get why there's no apk. Maybe in the future but it's needs lot of ressources so I don't think it would be done

I'm not sure if they could just release the app not approved by Google or Apple stores. Such app would not be officially recognized by Android and iOS and would be considered as dangerous. They would face many problems including legal ones and I don't think such app would work on the Androd and iOS without making changes to the system itself to accept unauthorized apps. You can't just create the app and let people download it doesn't work like that. Otherwise anyone could make app with the virus and infect millions of smartphone users. Stuff like that doesn't happen because each application must be approved by android and iOS.
Aazzah Posted July 24, 2019 #14 Posted July 24, 2019 Hey there kate buddy! I honestly think that If they added a stake mobile app, stakes user population will shoot up! It would also be a very good idea too because if you're on phone on web browser... you tend to get a lot of jittering/lag on there. But I reckon if they added a mobile phone app they would actually be more users signing up!! I think that anyway It would solve a lot of problems when betting on phone too Anyway... Good idea, I hope admins take this into consideration and add this option either in the future or the near future! Have a great day stakers ❤️

Not only playstore, other places too. I feel like we sometimes need an app, and fixes.
