Kate Posted July 25, 2019 #1 Posted July 25, 2019 Ok stake is mainly focused and based around crypto as we all know that and they keep adding new cryptos into their " accepted coins on the site " list . So i was wondering as they keep adding new coins will they add USD as a currency for playing on the site ? I dont believe it would happen soon but it will happen in the future. How cool would that be ? You could use your banks or western union or other types of payment modes to deposit on to stake. Of course withdrawal will only include paypal not on deposits 😛 . I know this will neglect the whole term of privacy but if people dont want to be much private then its a good mode for them and if people do want to be private just play with crypto What do you guys think ? Would you want this to be added in the near future of the site ? Or nah you dont and just want to stay with crypto.
polor12 Posted July 25, 2019 #2 Posted July 25, 2019 But stake don't accept people from the US.. well not literally.. most of us use the VPN.. but whatever.. there gotta be some legal paper work for them to get that right..they added that currency or any other major currency the anonymous part of crypto was the major reason people what to use in casinos. They don't need to give up any info about them.. but transferring like USD they will need a paper trail to make sure the funds to be legit.. right?
kaleemmalik071 Posted July 25, 2019 #3 Posted July 25, 2019 well in my opinion stake 'll not add usd . the reason is stake did not allowed to USA players . so majority of USD users are not a part of stake . but there is an alternative available . i think one day stake 'll add USDT
Trigety Posted July 25, 2019 #4 Posted July 25, 2019 Its possibly a good idea but not something id say is necessary, not really sure i think that it has a reason to be on stake, i like the fact that u can just use cryptos here and use that for gambling its like more then enough?
barbaris Posted July 25, 2019 #5 Posted July 25, 2019 I do not know whether this will happen in the future, because it is still a crypto casino. In my opinion, the use of cryptocurrency is more profitable for the casino and for users since the price is constantly changing. And the dollars are stable.
wngo123 Posted July 25, 2019 #6 Posted July 25, 2019 In order for this to happen stake would need to apply permissions to operate online casino. Otherwise they would not be able to take payments in fiat currency. Credit card companies and other financial institutions would just ban them if they tried to do it without getting permit from the governments. The regulations regarding online casinos vary depends on the country. In some countries online gambling is banned and in others highly regulated. If they ever decide to go into fiat currency they would need to meet all those regulations and as the result stake could not be accessed in many countries. I don't think they would go for it because the whole idea of stake is cryptocurrency.
CntryBoy Posted July 25, 2019 #7 Posted July 25, 2019 I'm not sure this will ever happen, and honestly I don't have a preference either way. I enjoy crypto gambling much more than gambling with fiat online.
wszechmogacy Posted July 25, 2019 #8 Posted July 25, 2019 I do not think so. Because gambling is forbidden in many countries. And cash payments are no longer anonymous
Kingcashedout Posted July 25, 2019 #9 Posted July 25, 2019 i think it would be pretty cool if usd was added ......i think id probably play more with usd than using coins.......sometimes i find it a hassle to go purchase coins then depo and then waait on the deppo....sometimes it can take hours just to be able to play .....sometimes i guess im a little too impatient
Aazzah Posted July 26, 2019 #10 Posted July 26, 2019 Hey there kate I would honestly like to see this... I would actually like to see it in GBP, EUR, Lira and much more for the other users benefits too. But in all honesty, People from the United States aren't really supposed to be on stake... Most of them use a vpn to get on. But If stake added the usd currency, i would prefer it to be in GBP because I am in the uk and it would be very helpful if they added it. But at the end of the day... I would love to see this added on stake. It wouldn't even matter to me what currency it is in... Preferably GBP or USD. Would be cool if they added this some point in the near future Please Eddie see this and take this into consideration and add it<3 Have a great day stakers and good luck playing
hillowner45 Posted July 26, 2019 #11 Posted July 26, 2019 I don't know bro, the whole premise behind stake is cryptocurrency and privacy. Adding some kind of fiat currency will kinda make the whole thing fall apart, it will just be like any other online casino. Withdrawals will take ages... they will have to do a KYC...it just won't work. People come here for the privacy they offer their players and the instant withdrawals, if they take those two away then its over.
HighDamage Posted July 26, 2019 #12 Posted July 26, 2019 I think that is a good thing, but not all countries / locations allow Gambling and may not include the currency in Gambling. therefore we use the Digital Currency, but most likely will support USDT in my opinion :v

When you start dealing with fiat there are different, stricter laws you as a casino must abide by if I'm not mistaken so I really don't think it would be in stakes best interest to start accepting anything other then crypto. I could be completely wrong though but I just don't think it will happen.
davinmark Posted July 26, 2019 #14 Posted July 26, 2019 i would like to see USD as a currency in Stake, but i dont think that they gonna add USD because its a crypto gambling, well i know there is nothing impossible that can stake do anything, but i think its a great idea if there is Stake or maybe Euro
htetaungxx Posted July 26, 2019 #15 Posted July 26, 2019 as my opnion, using crypto currency is better for stake, and we can use USDT or somthing same price with USD is better.
akmal1984 Posted July 26, 2019 #16 Posted July 26, 2019 I prefer the stake site to only use crypto currency as a tool for betting. Because it is very complicated for usd, we have to take care of many things to make a deposit, for example. But imagine it feels unique too if there's usd. Seeing the rain bot appear and give the usd it must be really different.

When sometimes deposit is rolled back by some errors( especially g2a) it’s take 30 days to get back. PayPal isn’t good for me. Crypto is the best to deposit and withdraw fast transaction
cukup2 Posted July 26, 2019 #18 Posted July 26, 2019 I am more happy with crypto coins than having to add a USD currency or a country's currency. because if we make a deposit with a USD currency or another we better play online casino that accepts that currency because. and do not have to play gambling at stake if you have to bet with usd currencies etc. with the stake starting to enter several new crypto currencies into their payment without the official exchange from the stake it makes it difficult for me to exchange from doge coins to btc or vice versa.
nattekut Posted July 26, 2019 #19 Posted July 26, 2019 answer is quit simple. use or any other fiat currency will never be integrated to stake. to be able to add it they should become heavily regulated which they are not at this moment. I think the only thing they can do to integrate it in some way is to integrate USDT or USDC to the site. then you more or less have the feeling of gambling with fiat currency

I just don’t see this happening as it defeats the purpose of the crypto casino as well as would be super hard to get around certain laws required to use usd in gambling sites. Def won’t be happening.
williamshennie9 Posted July 31, 2019 #21 Posted July 31, 2019 I think people have asked this before, but adding USD kind of defeats the purpose of having a crypto casino. Also, I would assume adding USD would mean a lot more laws and regulations to comply with for Stake.
cryptofly Posted July 31, 2019 #22 Posted July 31, 2019 I don`t see any particular reason why they should include USD in here, first because these sites is based in the cryptoecosystem, second because outside, there are many stable coins that can be added, this by keeping the way to the cryptocurrencies. Fiat money some how is the enemy, why Stake should include this money on the list of coins? I vote to include a stable coin, nothing more. My opinion. Good luck.
Ali saher Posted July 31, 2019 #23 Posted July 31, 2019 I think if stake add a USD currency then stake need a new system and maybe they face some security problems I this just crypto currency batter on stake maybe in future they add USD
Enzo Posted July 31, 2019 #24 Posted July 31, 2019 I don't ever see stake adding USD as a currency. There are whole other laws and regulations for each country that reside around having Fiat as a currency to gamble with. Not to mention, USD wouldn't be the choice because Stake is restricted from US players anyway. So no i don't see that happening, i don't want that happening either.
