SLFJ Posted July 25, 2019 #1 Posted July 25, 2019 Hey, person that is reading this :), We all know that bankroll management is a hard thing to do and it has been touched on a lot of topics, but not much people actually knows how to manage your bankroll, for example, if you think that 10% of your balance is a great bet, then oh boy you're so wrong, what if I told you that betting 25% of my bankroll makes me profit somewhen? Well it does, for some people, they like going slowly and safely, but the sad truth that there's no safe gambling in Stake, so what ever you bet will end you up busted somewhen.
Elastomania Posted July 25, 2019 #2 Posted July 25, 2019 If you control your emotions all the time, you can definitely achieve results and not lose all your money. But this is a casino.

I completely agree with this, but you cannot always win just because you control your emotions too good, emotions wont change your rolls/bets whatever you will call it, wont change your in-future consequence that is going to come out of the bet and win it, your emotions don't control all of the world around you, but if you are really in a very bad mood, I do not recommend to gamble too, but you have a great point out there :).

Sometimes emotions save and if you do not put the maximum bet, you will have chances to win what you have lost gradually.
CntryBoy Posted July 26, 2019 #5 Posted July 26, 2019 Bankroll management and the discipline to stick to your plan is essential if you want to be at all profitable. I used to be horrible at managing my bankroll, but have gotten much better over time. I generally never bet more than 1% at a time, but there are some exceptions from time to time.
williamshennie9 Posted July 28, 2019 #6 Posted July 28, 2019 That 25% strategy you use will make you lose your whole bankroll at some point. I mean 4 losses in a row, and there your entire bankroll is gone (assuming you don't raise your bet on a loss).
LuckyDis Posted July 28, 2019 #7 Posted July 28, 2019 Mental war exactly, you should keep your mind clear and don't be greedy. It's basic rule for gambling
chankhoreID Posted July 28, 2019 #8 Posted July 28, 2019 I agree with you that the better step is to withdraw it in the form of money so you don't bet anymore. because we will definitely continue to bet if our balance is still there ... I always withdraw when balancd is sufficient to withdraw .. we must be able to withdraw to reduce minus our losses ... and it's good little by little we will be able to set our bankroll so that it doesn't drain anymore and the song because of our ego who wants to always bet .. Hopefully we can manage it and put aside our ego because if we obey our ego, we will slowly bankrupt you. good luck budd 🤑
