In movies and theatre they already say 'break a leg' when someone goes on stage for many decades. Are there guys here that are superstitious regarding their gambling. I personally think its something stupid and will not affect your gambling but well it can be funny. so please share your ritual or your superstition here in this thread. Do you scratch your balls before placing a bet, do you only bet by using your right hand finger, do you pray to god, use special numbers...... doesnt matter. share with us what you do so we all can have a laugh Me personally am not superstitious in my gambling but I remember when I was playing darts some years back I had a ritual before stepping into the oche. but nothing special for my gambling. Dont think scratching my nuts would help me to hit something big... 🤣

Sometimes I don't drunk it at all and it's cold and just sitting on the desk I just need to make tea before I go gambling and sometimes if I drink the tea then during the break I make another tea or coffee. Now in summer here in Spain a good vodka orange does the job as well

Hey you never know what bring good luck.... I always run around my laptop 7 times counterclockwise, do a 10 second head stand, then 3 cartwheels before I start rolling... I'm kidding. I have never been the superstitious type in gambling or anything else for that matter.

polor12 Posted August 1, 2019 #10 Posted August 1, 2019 well everyone that i know of that gambles are very superstitious. always speaking about luck this luck that.. bring there favorite chain ring.. or even wear a special jersey every time me and my friend enter a poker tournament.. or just play poker at the near by casino.. he wears the jersey not me.. i guess it works for him because a few years back me him and 2 other were at the last table.. i end up being 4th wining about 5grand he end up taking first and 25k for prize money.. ever since then he takes that jersey every tournament he ends up in the last table i came close a few times but end up getting all in on bad beats..
Mackyrivera Posted August 1, 2019 #11 Posted August 1, 2019 There's really a lot of superstitious belief when it comes to gambling for the hopes that the thing you just did will make you luckier, and win more. and it don't stop on winning, when you are already winning you tend not change anything you are doing so (another superstition) you will not break the chain of good luck

If the ritual thing works stake ritual is better than us 😂. If your ritual works please share with me.

jinz Posted August 3, 2019 #17 Posted August 3, 2019 Uhm I throw salt over my shoulder whenever I try to gamble again after losing big. I read somewhere that this helps in stopping bad luck to follow you.
