In the past I didn't change the seeds. People said you should and I read on the forum I should. So I began changing seeds from time to time. I don't see any changes in the games after changing seeds. It didn't help me winning. Maybe...just one time there was improvement and I stopped loosing so much, but other than that never. So one example doesn't prove anything. Sometimes I forgot to change the seeds and I'm doing fine. But basically stakers are changing seeds when they feel they are loosing so do I, but seriously didn't see any improvement after changing seeds.

barbaris Posted July 28, 2019 #4 Posted July 28, 2019 It seems to me that the change of seeds does not affect anything. But still I change them mostly when I hunt for a high multiplier. When I catch the multiplier that I need, I change the client and server seed and continue to hunt.

When I first joined Stake and when I saw this feature I tried it a couple of time. Another time when I started verifying bets, I was asked to change seeds and so I did. Those are probably the only few times I ever did. I don't change seeds now, I've been using one for over 100k rolls and I don't see any difference when compared with the days I had changed seeds. I still hit high multipliers and also get bad losing streaks and all other normal things that would come even if you change seeds. There's no such hack as changing seeds can make you win or lose. It's just luck. If you were meant to lose, you would probably change your seed to that exact horrible seed and then roll and realise you hit a long ass streak. On the other hand, you may be really lucky and change a seed to one that lines up to give you a 1000x on Plinko etc.

CntryBoy Posted July 29, 2019 #15 Posted July 29, 2019 As mentioned, changing seeds is very similar to shuffling a deck of cards. The roll numbers are predetermined based on the seed, so it doesn't change your odds of winning, simply the order the numbers show up in. For me though, it is more of a mental thing, like refreshing the screen if I am running into a bunch of losses.

You will always get periods of greens and reds no matter your seed is and changing your seed could change the momentum for better or worse. But its more a psychological act than an evidence based one, especially when you have played thousands of bets on that one seeds its nice to start afresh on a new one. Even give it a name if you are feeling up to it!

If you loose continuously means you have overplayed. Your winnings depend upon what you loose earlier....:-) Be wise as not to change the seed.... Your present seed strengthens according to your total amount of play.. All the best....

polor12 Posted July 29, 2019 #23 Posted July 29, 2019 No it doesn't change anything.. every game there a predetermined outcome already.. since everything is computerized the outcome can be some what predictable.. say out of 100 rolls what's a reasonable rolls might be win.. some Wil say 50/50 30/70.. well for a fact the outcome will be more loss then win.. but is not counting the fact of the payout if each win.. if you guys depend more of the win and loss streaks . Then don't be surprised in any seed you change the losing will always come on top.. but if you consider the wins that you made with the payout that comes with it.. then losing doesn't matter.. a win is a win.. you will always come on top .
SLFJ Posted July 29, 2019 #24 Posted July 29, 2019 It can either win or lose you a bunch, because when the seeds reset, your whole nonced winnings will go away, new rolls will be shown and the outcome is very much different, so yes, it can win you tons, you do not need to worry about that since it is responsible gambling, even if it isn't you're pretty much good to go and try your luck after a different seed that came out when you press change seed the outcome of all of your rolls or anything will change, no matter how much you try and hope for the outcome you are hoping for, you can not predict it, once I saw a pretty dumb topic called can stars predict the betting, no it wouldn't just because the client seed is very much different for anyone to use and try to predict the future or the future betting that they are going to do, which means there is no predicting, in my opinion this is just pure luck and everything, so yeah, that was all from me, SLFJ.
