hillowner45 Posted August 1, 2019 #1 Posted August 1, 2019 I hope I'm not the only with this problem... I find it so hard to stop and withdraw when my the number in my balance isn't aesthetic. For example the other day I was playing and managed to bring my deposit up to 0.00993 sats. I was happy to call it a day, but in my mind I knew I had to bring it up to 0.01 before withdrawing. So being impatient, I tried to martingale the 7k sats on dice and busted it all. Why is it so hard to withdraw on an unaesthetic number? Is is related to any psychological theories on human behaviour?
williamshennie9 Posted August 1, 2019 #2 Posted August 1, 2019 That's a very good question, because I do the same. I withdraw on round numbers, such as 0.01 for example, not 0.02142324. I guess it is just easier to keep track of and looks more appealing in the log lol.
djonox Posted August 1, 2019 #3 Posted August 1, 2019 I had this period of wanting to put that round figure which gave me even more desire to play to round the sums I know that it may be bizarre for some but these psychological it is enough to do a job on top and not that satisfied to have a higher round number For me I had the case to make the loss on this gigantic cum sum sum now I withdraw from that I feel the risk too high
Enzo Posted August 1, 2019 #4 Posted August 1, 2019 I feel exactly the same way. I can't withdraw 993k sats I have to withdraw 1m sats haha. It's crazy how that works though that last 7k sats would fuck you over. Earlier it happened to me before withdrawing, I had like 480k sats and wanted 500k sats so I could withdraw 250k sats. Busted trying to get the last 20k.
yololife222 Posted August 1, 2019 #5 Posted August 1, 2019 Hey, same goes to me i thought no one except me cared about it there was that time when i missed 1k from being at 0.01btc before withdraw so i tryed martingale it on dice and got ower like 10-15 reds I cant remember but i know that , that made me bust. ( at that time it was only like 4k per btc. )
polor12 Posted August 1, 2019 #6 Posted August 1, 2019 that is just the human mind working how its suppose to work. in the wanting more or i can make it just where i need it to be what you dont realize is that just making the mark where you want it to be.. the goal seems not that far to reach but it blinds you to play more carefully.. because i can image once you didnt hit it .. you just start clicking the bet button which leads to rage betting ... then boom gone..
nattekut Posted August 1, 2019 #7 Posted August 1, 2019 recently I always chase the min withdraw without depositing. but for me I do not care its a round number or not. My goal is to reach 200k satoshi but if balance is at 214k then I will withdraw it all. I am not tight on round numbers to withdraw my winnings

Is is related to any psychological theories on human behaviour? Yes, it is happening to me and many others as well and this is what make us bust so many times. It's not the only reason of course , but this is one of the reasons. And it happens not only when you want to withdraw but also when you set the goal that you will stop gambling that day when you reach at goal. This is how I busted my entire balance of 1,2m satoshi because I tried to reach 1,5. My original goal was 1m and even wen I was able to reach it I still didn't stop but continue to play without a goal and then maybe I would stop at 1,5 because I didn't like 1,2m number. Terrible stuff and I'm not going to fall for that anymore. I decided to fight it. Now I still will set the goals like that but I will stop even before reaching the origininal goal and I would call it a day. 0.00993 sats? That's fine with me from now on. PS Easy to say harder to do. I will see when I am in that situation again, because so far I always fell for this and got myself in trouble.

First time is i claimed forum rewards 7k sats and I tried to hit today challenge. And after I finished challenge my balance was 70k I aimed to minimum amount of withdraw and I just reached 190k with dice and it’s was about to hit minimum amount of withdraw and busted all back. Second was I claimed yesterday event rewards and i farming and busting like first one again

I suppose our mind just prefers looking at and withdrawing nice even, round numbers for some odd reason. In the grand scheme of things it cost about $100 busting trying to win an extra 70 cents. I have the same problem, but maybe if we look at it in this way instead, our mind won't play those kinds of tricks on us...

SLFJ Posted August 2, 2019 #12 Posted August 2, 2019 Yeah, definitely, no matter what your balance and basebet is, you will still bust, having a bigger balance does NOT save you from red streaks. The more funds you have, the more upset will you be after losing them. The more you think of losing, the more likely you are to lose. Positivity sometimes helps. Greed - kills. Do not let greed overcome you or you will bust soon, just a friendly tip.
jinz Posted August 3, 2019 #13 Posted August 3, 2019 Last month I won a giveaway from a streamer that always join Stake races. The prize was 0.34 Ethereum, big enough to withdraw but when I was already in the withdraw tab and hit the max amount to withdraw, the amount was subtracted with the 0.0002 fee. I want the whole 0.34 in my wallet so I decided to play for that 0.0002 Ethereum. Guess what? I did martingale too and I end up busting the whole 0.34 ETH because of chasing the transaction fee!
XRP Posted August 3, 2019 #14 Posted August 3, 2019 i withdraw any money with numbers and unaesthetic numbers too i stop when i am happy with my money dears and never over the top 😘
Etude Posted August 5, 2019 #15 Posted August 5, 2019 Well in this case I personally really much prefer to withdraw at a round numbered figure such as 0.01 BTC whenever I can which seems all the more systematically to me.
Ali saher Posted August 5, 2019 #16 Posted August 5, 2019 I think you need to control your self when you reach close to withdraw amount mostly users when reach close withdraw amount then they do some mistakes for example if I reach 0.0019 Btc and I need just 10k satoshi this time I control and play just some small amount bits mostly wo do a mistake we make some big amount bit and think if we win then withdraw our balance and mostly users lose this time and they not recover this amount that's why mostly people not complete there goals so in my opinion when we reach close withdraw amount this time just make some small bits and play cool if we do this then confirm we reach withdraw amount
