Kate Posted August 3, 2019 #1 Posted August 3, 2019 Ok this is a very long term question so stake has its birthday coming up and it has been 2 years since stake has been here and it feels like a long time ago and it has become old so quick. So i wanted to ask you guys on the thoughts of stake still being there after 20 or so years. So would this be possible for stake to survive till ? What do you guys think let me know . I believe that stake could survive for another 5 years or 10 years and maybe another 15 years because by then technology would be so developed that people could just have live dealers in their home with hologram.
SLFJ Posted August 3, 2019 #2 Posted August 3, 2019 I do actually think that in 2039 we still will have the 'ol good Stake and our old good players, not all of them are going to stay, but I will try my best to. About the hologram thing, I do not think that gambling technology would be this advanced since there are kids living in this world too, and they would have bad thoughts on gambling and they'd prolly get addicted too, but yes, Stake will be a long term maintained site, since PD has been. Although I would love to see stake here for another 20 years and even more... I do not think that It will be here for 20 years longer. I, personally, do not think gambling crypto would be that popular any more and that, so I think most players will leave. Then stake probably would shut down. I wouldn't want it to because I think stake is awesome but It probably will happen. I would love to stay at stake for another 20 years! It would be awesome. Wildmonkeylv Posted August 3, 2019 #5 Posted August 3, 2019 It is a gambling site,It would most likely last over 20 years,but what im affraid of that if it gets big enough,that some regulations will be made or some kind of a law that will requiere to shut down the site,I hope that wont be the case,but if the site would be bigger and would make millions in a short period of time I think the goverment will want to do something like tax or the worst thing shutting down the site,but the chances are low for that to happen but they can happen,I feel like Stake is going to last for over 10 years 4 sure .

Obviously theyll be around as long as they have a userbase and are bringing in sufficent money, but who knows how long that will last! With as generous as they are and as many players getting VIP as there are, We either are gonna see a decrease in coupon amounts for VIPs or something similar.

Also remember stake casino is cryptocurrency casino so if cryptocurrency is not dead then stake casino will be there for years.

polor12 Posted August 3, 2019 #12 Posted August 3, 2019 well the only thing it might still be running if btc still around.. since this is only a crypto currency casino.. crypto has be there also... with out crypto then no casino.. unless it accepts euro usd and other currency but that will be a lot of paper work.. and btc is just an email and blockchain explorer for transaction. let me look into my crystal ball real quick..

It may look completely different, or heck, it might even undergo a name change, but I do believe that as long as there are players Stake will remain for a long time. More importantly though, what will be of crypto 20 years down the line? I mean, for one thing look how long Bitcoin has been around and how far it has come! Cryptocurrency is still very much in its infancy, only now it has started to enter into the mainstream, but even that is still slow going. What we call cryptocurrency today might look very different 20 years down the line.. For example, deflationary coins have made an appearance and are starting to trend. All I mean by that is; they are a different kind of coin than what we have been used to. Really, there have been all kinds of protocols and chains developed - and too many altcoins to count. I really think what is happening is we (as a crypto society) are just experimenting and trying to find out which method is going to 'stick' - they all improve, or are trying to improve, upon Bitcoin.. Eventually we will find the one that will be readily and instantly accepted by the masses and finally deal the death blow to FIAT bills. Crypto has changed casinos, changed how we gamble, what we gamble on, and I also believe it has brought more people to online casinos as well. Stake and other micro-casinos I think also helped to bring more people out who maybe never gambled before - I personally never used an online casino until coming to Stake, being the cheap-o that I am, placing the lowest bets possible helps to ensure that my HODLing is never really HODLed for long 😆 It is up to the players; as long as Stake remains profitable and able to pay its overhead costs, I see no reason for it to go anywhere anytime soon. A profitable company, especially one online, is also an easy sell - so it may of course go with different owners in that time.. but if we play, Stake will stay!

Hard to predict. 20 years is a really long time. If you think about how the internet looked like 20 years ago - nothing like today I guess if they don't go out of business then stake as company name will survive, but what the website will look like, what currencies we will be able to gamble here or if we are going to be gambling here at all is really hard to say and predict. For example I remember 3d world Second Life. It was supposed to change the way internet work, it was like game environment and you could walk around the simulated world with your avatar (which you could change as well). Many companies opened their own places in Second Life. However it turned out after a few years that it just remains a virtual world and nothing else, it didn't replace the internet. Many companies left Second Life after that. So everything is changing and especially in business it is really impossible to predict what the world will look like in 20 years.

rdbase Posted August 3, 2019 #22 Posted August 3, 2019 I think if they keep up with their promotions and let the player feel they are having a fair shot on their gambling site and not sufficated by too many of them by splitting up the prize amounts given with too many of them offered all at one time. This is collective criticism and not knocking on the site whatsoever. It is more of a growth period for the site with it coming up on 2 years now.

laron Posted August 3, 2019 #25 Posted August 3, 2019 I think the stake will continue to exist if the quality continues to be improved in the future and I think for now the stake is very good in managing whether it is about promotion, giveaway or challenge so I hope that all of it will not be eliminated because many players feel at stake because all that and hope the stake will continue to exist for the next 50 years 😍
