Paecga129 Posted August 3, 2019 #1 Posted August 3, 2019 What did everyone think of the race today ? I was really surprised at how much it would take in wager just to place in top 100 !!! Or even 200 for that matter. I also thought it was cool to have the top 50 get the extra money. But at the same time it would be a lot cooler if there was like a prize for 110th place 130th place 150th ... even if it’s like 25k satoshi. It would make the races a lot more fun for us poor folks. So tell me what did you all think ?
dhiarahmouni Posted August 3, 2019 #2 Posted August 3, 2019 I am just watching but i am noticing that races are getting bigger and harder each week and the competition is more than before. so i also think that adding prizes to top 150 or more in race is a good idea that lets more people participate so even the small gamblers and take some benefits from race

Ali saher Posted August 3, 2019 #4 Posted August 3, 2019 Today mega race and I see always maga race very hard if you want come on top 50 you need a big wegar mega race always for me very hard and mostly I lose my balance on mega race because I want come on top that's why I wegar big amount and fast play that's why result not good today I just play coupons money when I see game not good today for me I stop playing and I think top 100 prize good if you see 150 or 200 then I think stake so small prize give you

williamshennie9 Posted August 3, 2019 #6 Posted August 3, 2019 The races are targeted at getting people with big balances to bet big. While it is a great initiative, and people love it, there is no real incentive for Stake to let the poor people win sadly.

I actually sent a pm to Eddie with an idea and hopefully he will at least hear me out and consider it.

I knew it because I did not change my way of gambling during this particular race and I never could escalate places like I use to, now I got stuck in the same place and even started losing positions, and that never happened before. Mega race is an attraction, and I am taking that to understand that there is a risk trying to get a place in the board where the prize is much lower than the losses to achieve a good place; everybody should make numbers. But I like races and mega races due the environment created among community members, all those efforts to reach a place, to chat, to rain, to tip, to stream, everything is different during races, and I like that. Gives the site a strange attitude of friendship. My opinion. Good luck.

jualid Posted August 4, 2019 #18 Posted August 4, 2019 It's really hard to get to top 50 races right now, because of the bonus $50 for the top 50. The wagered amount for the 40-50 is really big compared with the last week. I guess the bonus really attract many players lol.

I was kicked out of top 50 multiple times so I needed to increase my bets multiple times too since I really wanted to be on top 50. With the extra $50 for top 50 the competition is on another level.

I ended up finishing 23rd and only started with about 175k sats at the beginning, proving that we do not need to start with a huge balance in order to be competitive in the race. By the end of the race, I was up to 0.011btc + the prize I received for my finishing position. The extra $50 is a nice incentive as well, so overall it was a very good race day for me.

Since in daily race ussualy I place in top 50 , so I think I just multiply my base bet five times and I can be in top 50. In the beginning so far all worked like I plant but after 30 minutes my rank is going down and Im out of top 50 (at 53th). I try to chase by double my base bet but top 50 still unreacheabel. At last in last 30 minutes I decided to give up considering my loss is more than price and extra bonus. I finished in 70th position. Maybe next time for mega race I need to multiply my base bet twenty times lol
polor12 Posted August 4, 2019 #22 Posted August 4, 2019 still dont considered it as a race.. race has a starting point where everyone has no advantage of.. this is basically who has more will win. or top the other players. simply said you have more in the bankroll before the race start. then you have your own house edge... so no i would never considered this a race,.. name it what it should be really called.. High rollers only..

As long as I take part in the race, it has never felt like I could break into the top 50. At most I was only able to reach rank 80. and you know yourself the prize is smaller than my defeat
djonox Posted August 4, 2019 #24 Posted August 4, 2019 I rarely play the races of the weekend despite a big cashprize because the difficulty is as you say for this ranked top 100 you have to bet like a madman and if you have the balance necessary or you can not wager whistle until if you have your balance at 0 you are more than a loser I prefer participating in the small race of the week despite a lower cashprize

Because when mega race there is no place for poor people like me because someone rich Entering race with hidden multi account , many sponsored YouTuber ( even eddie enter race lol joking 🙃) . I’m just trying to enter 1k race with low participants. There is no place for mega race.
