nuuuitsjdragon Posted August 5, 2019 #1 Posted August 5, 2019 Apparently it’ll be done by the time this topic is posted LOL. Have you guys stocked up on LTC to prepare for a possible price increase? This happens usually due to traders predicting increase as rewards for finding Litecoin blocks fall and thus, supply drops > demand stays same > price increase! More on this below in the video: https://youtu.be/BPxq8CgMooI
bmg Posted August 5, 2019 #2 Posted August 5, 2019 Well this is interesting and I wish I had some Ltc now lol. Thank you for sharing this i'll have to keep an eye on the price just in case.
polor12 Posted August 5, 2019 #3 Posted August 5, 2019 as long any coin that increases is a positive to me..if btc goes up so the rest.. if it goes down then the rest will follow.. is all in the chain of command..
blueprints Posted August 5, 2019 #4 Posted August 5, 2019 any thing to make us know if the halving will make anything profitable? I feel like coins just half for the heck of it these days and not for an actual purpose like BCH

I feel like coins just half for the heck of it these days and not for an actual purpose like BCH Mostly it will increase due to a self-fulfilling prophecy by most Traders that LTC will go up in price after the halvening. There’s no certain profitability but following the trends in history, that’s what has happened before!
allisonn Posted August 5, 2019 #6 Posted August 5, 2019 Kinda feels to me like the market is getting more mature, while every halvening still spikes the prices, it's less sudden than before, so people have been pricing it in. And then I remember people are still willing to pay money for BSV and get into arguments on twitter about it and yeah I lose all faith in this world.
wngo123 Posted August 5, 2019 #7 Posted August 5, 2019 I don't think there is anything that could help LTC. It's such failed coin Yea I'm not a big fan of it
barbaris Posted August 5, 2019 #8 Posted August 5, 2019 This is interesting and I would like to see the growth of this coin, since I have a certain amount. So far, the price of LTC has been rising in the wake of bitcoin, but not as fast as you wrote, but the increase is noticeable. We are waiting for LTC to the moon.
williamshennie9 Posted August 5, 2019 #9 Posted August 5, 2019 This is not all that bad. I mean, it shows the scarcity of litecoin becoming more and more prevalent. I think that some miners may stop, but people who have litecoin can expect the price to increase in my opinion.
Julian111 Posted August 5, 2019 #10 Posted August 5, 2019 I think disagree with you, at this time still btc had dominant bullish. Ltc just follow it and it's not too much effecting on ltc bullish.
wry Posted August 5, 2019 #11 Posted August 5, 2019 Normally we see the price go up BEFORE the block reward reduction as the market anticipates it, for example LTC hit 135 USD early last month. Any price move up now will probably be more gradual as less LTC gets generated each day now. I think LTC is a decent coin, it was BCH before there was BCH. It also claims to be adding some privacy features, so who knows. Here's a news story on the reduction: https://www.coindesk.com/litecoin-just-halved-its-crypto-rewards-for-miners

I looked closely at altcoin's chart for a year. In fact, when the price of Bitcoin increases, altcoin's price will go down and when Bitcoin's price falls, altcoin's price will continue to fall.
BLXN Posted August 6, 2019 #13 Posted August 6, 2019 LTC was my original underdawg back when I had naively invested in iCenter, and was reaping interest rewards-- until woosh. Then I just started losing LTC purchased from Coinbase..lol. Maybe I'll sink some money into an investment, instead of into my wager. Heh
