The present subject is about the virtual criminals known as scammer /con artists.

All through the majority of my club time I have been an injured individual and focus of scammer/con artists. They are evil presences in the club, they are a kind of hoodlum or swindler who do everything to hoodwink and take individuals.

They couldn't care less how or what you did to acquire your cash, you will likely pull back as much as you can from your cash or hack your record, and on the off chance that he can, in the wake of attacking your record, will attempt to taint your contacts with some sort of malignant code .

So what do you do when you know that an individual is scammer/con artist?

If it was something that happened on stake I'd usually report to support so they know whats going on. Usually that ends with a mute, usually that ends with a mute. Sometimes a ban will happen. I think users who are scammers/con-artists don't need to be allowed on Stake.

When he/she is, it always feels wrong.

If your gut is telling you that you’re uncomfortable with the situation, heed that feeling and don’t ignore it!

It’s probably right in those situations.

Also, if you ever find yourself feeling the greed when something’s too good to be true, it certainly is!

For all other situations, only give when you feel like it and not for any other reasons. 😎

You would just report them in the act and get them banned ASA, because you do not want them to harm more of the community and secure them.

Kind regards,

Tell them that I know what they're trying to do and get them to stop bothering me from now on.

If they still persist, either block them if I haven't OR report them to the moderators/support who will take care of the situation.

I hardly get any of these situations though even though I've been here for a number of months.

It depends what they have done. If it is posting links to malicious websites for example, then they should be reported, but if it is minor, for example asking for money and not repaying, then I think a mute will do.
