bitman007 Posted August 7, 2019 #1 Posted August 7, 2019 As i read that Number of years it took to reach 50 million users for: - Airlines: 68 years - Cars: 62 years -Telephone: 50 years - TV: 22 years - Computers: 14 years - Internet: 7 years - Facebook: 3 years How long do you think it’ll take Bitcoin to reach 50 million users? or we already touched this figure ? Many people saying : 5 more years. = probably even less, == This will change very soon, == Hopefully never. That would mean burning more than 10% of the world's electricity inside 50-100 million Bitcoin miners, thrown away after two years, == Just bitcoin..imma say 25 to 30years Blockchain (all crypto) probably the same amount of time We are about 10 years in and still not many people..I actually worry about this, == 1 more halving and we will be there soon after it etc. etc. What is your opinion on it ??
williamshennie9 Posted August 13, 2019 #2 Posted August 13, 2019 I see the comparison that you made, but at the same time, we are living in the information age, whereas those items were not in the same age as we are in now. So that could be a reason why bitcoin seems to spread so fast.
