The cause and effect of reducing forum rewards

So by now we all know that forum rewards have been reduced due to the sheer number of new users making use of the ability to earn satoshi off the forum.

I think the effect of these reductions will lead and already has lead to lower quality topics being made more often in order to get the maximum per post, people make topics about the most pointless subjects that dont really need a topic. Or there are multiple of the same topic by different users. It's actually created more spam and I fear this will cause either the forum rewards to be taken away, or (this is the ideal option) Stake will have to bring on more forum moderators to keep this place in check.

I think a lot of users don't care about the forum and what others have to say, more so they just want the satoshi they can earn and that leads to nonsensical postings. I think we know what topics im talking about too.

Let me know what you guys think I'm intrigued to hear opinions.

Well the price of Bitcoin is pretty high tbh and its understandable to reduce it but reducing max cap from 7.5k satoshis to 2.5k satoshis is just outrageous it is not even worth anymore tbh.

I dont really think that way.

I think it attracted more low quality posts when you can post anything you like and receive a very high reward for it. At least now the people that targets the forum only for the rewards will be lessened and discouraged. This place is a place for discussion people. Although I liked it when it was paying high, it's no reason for me not to be active in my favorite forum when it got less

I think so bro, it could be that it is a warning to users to further improve the quality of their posts. Maybe by giving a warning, finally many people think for posting and posting with more quantity and quality as well.

wtf? thats a big difference, are they going banckrupt? this is not good.

i think this is just to avaoid flood and spamming of non sense post, limit makes things important, and clean the site with wastes post. maybe they can also delete post that is no longer active to avoid spams

I'm changing my answer.  In the last 24 hours there have been a flood of nonsensical low value posts and threads created such as the one quoted above which has no relation to this thread other than to (unintentionally) illustrate my point.

I don't know if it's because good posters left or if we only have posters who think 1000 satoshi is a lot, but things are much worse.

I guess it's more interesting from a behavioral standpoint when you don't have to be the one cleaning things up 🙂

Reduced rewards and higher withdraw threshold -> either you give up on your spamming journey or redouble your spam efforts!

I would suggest in the message you need to increase the number of characters. Then there will be little meaningless message. Then you will immediately see flood and spam.  And from this sense will be !!!

I have seen blatantly repeated and copy-paste answers in every section possible with an overall drop in quality as well.

This situation will most possibly end up being: A) rewards decreased due to too much abuse B) abusers give up and balance is restored C) Nothing changes other than decreasing number of active forum posters

Reductions occurred for one reason. This is something that came a lot of users who also want to earn as much money as possible on this forum. Therefore, that there were no problems or lack of funds. Developers have lowered rewards.

After some time of observing, I really wish there would be a way of determining how relevant and good a post/thread is before the rewards are given. 

The only way is to have reputation points via “likes, upvotes” be a deciding factor in how much is paid out - thus making it the whole copy-paste/ridiculous posts/nonsense threads less of a problem.

Of course, we can then argue it will then be a popularity contest (which isn’t untrue), because at this point there is no incentive for anyone to contribute value.

When copying pays out the exact same amount as someone who has put thought into their words... what gives?
