So today I got a notification from Facebook saying Stake replied to my comment so I clicked on it and this ...

I got the same thing.  I reported the page after talking to support here and sending them the link to the impostor's FB page.  They said they will look into it.

Yes I reported it right away too.   I was like Stake would not send me something like this for sure ... I knew right away.   But some people might not.

That is very true.  I knew as soon as I saw it that Stake did not and would not post something like that.  It is definitely good to post here to make folks aware of these types of things.  It appears to be happening quite a bit on both FB and Twitter these days.

Same here. It seems that this fake stake page has been spamming all users who commented on several Stake social giveaways, particularly on FB. It probably is the same people who create fake pages from other projects as well. I feel sorry for anyone who might fall victim to these kind of scammers. It's most likely a phishing site and we should all be too careful. I do hope that this gets reported as someone might definitely click on it if he or she does not have any idea.

As you guys know, we do our best to try and prevent as many scammers as possible, but there will always be some that fall through the gaps. Some things that I suggest checking before you ever follow any links on facebook.

  1.  Check that it was posted by our page, and not a fake page.
  2. We don't typically reply to comments with links, let alone to other sites.
  3. English is our first language, so if it doesn't make sense or is written poorly, it's certainly not us!

Hope these few things help spot these scams better.

Obviously a scam based on that messy language lol, also promoting other site that not correlated to stake or primedice is a red flag there. I also already reported that the page too.

Definitely the best things to keep in mind when these types of posts appear.  Most of them are obvious impostor sites, which will clearly have a different profile page from Stake.

Hello all dear users on forum!

LOL! what i see here... scammers... there are scammers will always anywhere, never ends. Scam is worst always. Please be careful - i don't click this link other. Better not click on next! so maybe they hack you if you enter site. It's best to click site from stake, but on facebook i'm not agree with that. Private personal.

Greetings!

the first time I saw that comment, I no longer believed that Stake opened up opportunities for investment. what I do is ignore it until further official notice.

Oh definitely have to be aware of these fake links to avoid getting scammed or allow any chance to get compromised of. Nowadays these type of people would do anything to trick something out of others by hook or crook.

I can't believe how low some people will go. There is absolutely no limits for those scammers. There is more and more of them not only pretending to be stake but publishing 'news' that some famous person want to tell you to invest in his project etc. and it's the ad, so facebook earns money from this. Facebook doesnt do anything about it.

there are still people who are not responsible for committing fraud in the name of stake and for me that social media like Facebook for the time being I have not activated it and have never posted certain sites. so that nothing happens as you experience it.

This is just ridiculous of how they are trying to scam these days, it's just saddening  and they do not ever succeed, you have to be so dumb to fall for that and actually deposit.

Kind regards,

Just report them , and pray that facebook will ban them but sometimes they just fk what we report, Ive already reported multiple scammers and they ban / remove max  50% of scammers and spammers but anyways its always better to report them and also post their profile link so we can report them too :)

Scammers have already reached Stake and it’s sad. You need to be extremely careful not to fall into the hands of scammers and carefully check whether these pages are actually official, not fraudulent, resources.
