Gaming has come a long way over the years. We went from pixelated classics to massive open worlds with incredible graphics and stories. But no matter how many games you've played, there's usually that one game that made you realize gaming was going to be a lifelong hobby.

For me, it's hard to pick just one. I grew up playing a lot of different games, but the Resident Evil series has always had a special place in my heart. After finishing the Resident Evil Requiem recently, I was reminded why I love the franchise so much. The atmosphere, the characters, the puzzles, and the survival horror gameplay never get old. I'm also incredibly excited that Resident Evil: Code Veronica is finally getting the attention it deserves.

Over the years, I've spent thousands of hours playing everything from FPS games and open world to horror titles. Some games gave me unforgettable stories, others gave me friendships, and a few even made me question my sanity on the hardest difficulty.

So I'm curious...

🎮 What was the first game that truly hooked you?

🏆 Which game do you think you've spent the most hours playing?

❤️ If you could erase your memory and experience one game for the first time again, which would it be?

🔥 And what game are you looking forward to the most right now?

Whether you're into retro classics, indie gems, competitive multiplayer, or huge AAA releases, I'd love to hear everyone's picks. Maybe we'll even give each other some new games to add to our backlog.

Let's see what everyone's all-time favorites are! 👇🎮

The game I've spent the most hours playing is Pokémon. One of my favorite starts was choosing a Grass-type starter that could learn Leech Seed. I also loved catching a Caterpie early on and eventually evolving it to use moves like Confusion and Sleep Powder. Building a strong team from the very beginning and watching it grow throughout the journey was incredibly satisfying. Those moments are still some of my favorite gaming memories.

Commenting for reach! ❤️

It's a nice, well written topic. Unfortunately, I don't have much to add. My only memory of holding a console as a kid is playing Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt, and that was a long, long time ago. I never really had anyone around me who was into gaming or influenced me to get into it, so I ended up developing different interests instead.

I doubt this is even considered gaming lol, but did you guys have this too?
