wry Posted August 23, 2019 #1 Posted August 23, 2019 In what can only be described as a sad outcome for one of the most outspoken boosters of cypto in general and Bitcoin specifically, Patrick Byrne has had to resign as CEO of Overstock.com. Mr. Byrne got caught up in the US frenzy over Russian influence by having a relationship with a woman who was a Russian agent. The only really good news is that he is staying involved with tZero which was Overstock's crypto trading platform. So a tip of the hat to a crypto booster who is paying for a personal mistake.
