brad1278 Posted August 26, 2019 #1 Posted August 26, 2019 It happened to me a couple of times. I just wanted to play my usual game mode. And not really attended race result or whatsoever. I just played and wagger and even stopped for a while. Then after the race finished got notified that i won place on the race with prize. Well not so big but you know the feeling that when you prepared to race you bust and won nothing. And then when you just don't care you won something.
CntryBoy Posted August 26, 2019 #2 Posted August 26, 2019 That is actually the best way to approach the races on most occasions. Just play like you normally would and if you happen to win a place prize then it is just a little bonus. Too many folks try to force themselves up the ladder with bigger bets and it usually doesn't end well.
SLFJ Posted August 26, 2019 #3 Posted August 26, 2019 Yes, definitely a few times, once was building balance while the race and was surprised when I saw that I have won 83rd with just doing my stuff and playing my normal slow playstyle.
Etude Posted August 26, 2019 #4 Posted August 26, 2019 Oh this is rarely the case for me since most of the time I do HiLo hunts with rather low basebets. Therefore usually I only win a position in the races when I intend to race.
Kinou Posted August 26, 2019 #5 Posted August 26, 2019 Hey, Personally no, because I don't place big bets amount so it's not really possible... But one time I was close to the top 100, but for 1,000 satoshis, I found it useless... But I hope a day I will get top 50 or even top 100.. With regards, Kinou.
Jeazelle Posted August 28, 2019 #6 Posted August 28, 2019 Yea, when I have 3k xrp bankroll and play on plinko with 2xrp try to hit 1kx and after an hour I hit 1kx then stop take a break after 30 minutes I play again on plinko try to hit 620x and the challenge end I get 15th. but the prize of the challenge is not enough to back your losses
Enzo Posted August 28, 2019 #7 Posted August 28, 2019 This has happened to me a few times, once or twice it worked out quite well. I remember playing dice on 1.5 payout, I made 4000 sats to 0.013 btc, half way thru my session I realized I was 3rd in the race! I think I finished that race in 6th
bleach777 Posted August 28, 2019 #8 Posted August 28, 2019 I once had a coupon that i forgot to use and used it in the middle of the week and won 9th for like 22 xrp just from the coupon which was for like 75k sats.
sheenazbay Posted August 28, 2019 #9 Posted August 28, 2019 anything can happen in the game. I once got a long red in a limbo game, and I was resigned if my balance ran out. but luck was still on my side, at the end of my balance, I hit it. I got a big profit, because I played 990x on limbo
Thepug Posted September 9, 2019 #10 Posted September 9, 2019 I have never done this because of the sheer amount that you need to wager, to get a good spot in the race. For example, you need to wager at least 0.4 BTC ( around $4000 ), just to get a chance of getting top 50 in the mega race, which comes with the mega race coupon. To wager this much with a small balance, it can take time and effort, with a lot of bets that are lost. People that unintentionally get high rankings in races, are most likely the people that are doing risky, high bets. I enjoy more small risk betting and gradual increments in my wager for the race.
nuuuitsjdragon Posted September 9, 2019 #11 Posted September 9, 2019 There was once I remember placing 3rd while not having an inkling at all that Races were going on outside of Plinko. I managed to win on that session and on top of that, sweep a decent 3rd placing prize for the road!

Mahdirakib87 Posted September 9, 2019 #13 Posted September 9, 2019 I never played for placing in race. Just make depo and play for win. But sometimes I get up position in race though it's not enough for getting the prize. Today made much wager within short time at pd but not enough to get rank in top. Cause race run there for whole day. Unexpectedly winning the race will be nice
georgepipi Posted September 9, 2019 #14 Posted September 9, 2019 I see a lot of people like you, they don't take part in the race, but they are still at the top of the ranks. Sometimes it comes as a surprise. People always lose when trying to win a race, but the result is a failure.

I wish that could happen, but no it didn't happen to me. However it is possible of course when you bet high during the race. But in my case races are during the hours when I don't have time to gamble on stake.
