Did someone of you experienced that you recieved email of password reset?   It happened to me twice and i never did request to reset my password. I already reported the first one to eddie before. As i recalled they posted on facebook to be vigilant with our stake account and make it more secured. But today it happened to me again. And i know someone is trying to hack my account for the second time. Please be aware guys that when an email come requesting password reset, dont click the reset button. Otherwise your account and money may lost.

thank you for the notice, I never got my account asking for a reset for my password but on another site my account was hacked and immediately my money in the site ran out and then I realized maybe now it's a good idea to install 2fa as higher security

Have never ever received one, I don't share my email to some one I don't know, I don't use 2fa, because it kinda annoys me, but maybe some day i'll turn it back on.

it happen to me many times, never click the link that they give coz that's the link of losing your money on that particular account, go to the authenticated site  and change your password if necessary.

Hello,

I didn't receive any email yet, but I know this strategy... It's really good to hack the new users, so be carefull and turn on the 2FA... One of my favorite streamer got scammed a big amout of money without the 2FA...

With regards, Kinou.

No. I have never received email asking for password reset unless I requested it myself. However I got msgs on stake from really suspicious people that were not typical beggers I didn't answer

Yeah it's too bad. Some stupid hacker trying to hack and scam people at stake. Few days ago my account got hacked and the (****) hacker made my all balance zero. Even I found that fake Facebook page on giving reply to user when someone making comment on stake Facebook page. I got a reply from the fake page too. It said me to go through a link but I got that it's a scam so I didn't clicked it. Stake have huge list of user and it's a big casino. Hacker trying to scam people here. Stake team should add more security for it's user.

thank you for the information, fortunately, I never got an email like that from stake, but if it came to my email, it might have been several days because I opened the email when there was a coupon from stake and PD.

I haven't yet received one like that either, but I have received notices on Facebook of other sites that are impersonating Stake and want you to click a link...

Posted

I haven't received an email like that, but that is exactly why you should have 2fa, even if they could get it reset, they won't be able to log in without the 6 digit code.

we really have to be careful of scammers or hackers. The point is to never click on any links given by people you don't know. not only in emails, sometimes someone asks for your friendship and PM. offer a strategy to win and give you a link. it's better to remove them from friends before something unexpected happens with your account

That's a bad side of the Internet. But they can't hack/scam without your permission. I mean they can't access your computer /device without your permission. You clicked or opened the link which scammers send and they got access to the computer or device. And email too

Guys enable 2FA until you can, All od you, becuase when will you cry that somebody hacked you, it will be too late , really do it now, dont wait, come on babe ,you can do IT 😀

Enjoy your security now 😊

someone started chat with me on stake about some promotion.
later he give me his telegram id and we started chat in telegram.

Don't know how but that day someone hack my password.
i thought it were done because i started chat with him on telegram.
i hack my mobile and even stake account.

That day i were busy and not use stake whole day.
Next day i m not able to login, then i reset my password.
I realised that my account were muted due to unanimous chat done on my account.

so i created this as my new account and now i don't add people as friend and even don't chat with new people easily...

Wow, sorry to hear this.  Were you able to confirm that the hack was indeed from the TG chat, or could it have been something else?  There are so many ways these days to get in it really is scary...

No i never received that kind of email on my email but i got one on facebook. An account act like stake official account and message me that i win a giveaway which obviously a scam and i block that account directly.

Thank you!  Is not new that hackers are finding new ways to do what they do best, and this kind of topics and information is very helpful to keep our accounts save from this bad practice that is very common in the crypto ecosystem.  The 2fa is very important, so you all better set that on in order to secure your account.  Good luck.

The number of phishing links i dodge in my email every day is kinda funny. Runescape email is changed every day xD but they keep sending the email to my original RS acct? Heh. I received a phishing message from someone tuned into Ed's Stream during the Mega Race too .. obviously I didn't engage with them at all.
Watch yo shit! Watch yo links!

Hello brad,
I've been already recieved mail like that oftenly last 3 month. That is password reset for stake account. That scammer is surelly form one of people form stake who is playing and saw our huge some winning on stake. They our easily got my user name form stake, because most of account username are same with our email. We must always use 2FA and that is really inportant things brad.

Ohh thanks for this information I think when some scamer see u have big balance activity then they try to trap u I always see 1st msg detail if this msg send official site then I open otherwise I delete extra and unknown email or msgs

The best thing to do in a scenario like this is anble 2 factor authentication.

I know that a streamer called LOOPOO nearly got scammed through this, as hackers were able to log in to his account and withdraw the money.

If you have 2FA, it just means that your phone generates a unique code that only you will know. Nobody else will have this code, unless they have your mobile device.

Also, as google are the ones that coded the authenticator, they have the top coders in the world. It would take a highly skilled hacker to access this information, so you should be okay if you do this! :D

Yeah you right. If scammer found anyone who have big balance they try to scam them. But don't know why and how scammer hacked my account without giving any mail to me or by any other way. I had small balance at stake account around five usd. They just somehow hacked my account and made my balance zero.

Well you never get any suspicious mail. Maybe you don't used your mail address at non famous trash site. I gets a lot of mail from unknown source. They wants that I click on the link they sent me by mail. But I never do that. Though I didn't use my mail at much site. Never faced scammer on Facebook.
