Enzo Posted August 30, 2019 #1 Posted August 30, 2019 What do you guys think is the best thing to do when you win big, so that you don't bust the winnings? Obviously the gambler in all of us will be like; "cool! I can win way more now!" but thats not usually how it goes. For me? I have my Stake 2FA codes on a android phone i don't use, with an app that allows me to lock other apps for a time period. I'll deposit to vault, and then lock the app for 6 hours or so. Helps me incase I bust what I un-vaulted, to not just go crazy and try and win it back. It's worked somewhat well so far! Let me know what you guys do after you win big, do you just simply withdraw and close stake to avoid temptation? Or what?

I will withdraw then redeposit here or at other place. But if I win huge like 10+ btc I will surely take a break from gambling and run with my profit. But I will back again in soon for making something big again.
Menang Posted August 30, 2019 #3 Posted August 30, 2019 we should do withdrawal at least part of the profits or initial capital. so that if we lose, our losses won't be too great. It can reduce our greediness to by not seeing big balance in our bankroll
cryptofly Posted August 30, 2019 #4 Posted August 30, 2019 Well, as I understand the gambling is that, once you put money on it you most believe that you are going to loss all, but if you found yourself in a winning session the best think I do, that has worked to me, is to take the principal amount, the initial amount and send it to Vault for later gambling, so in this way, I will always have coins to gamble with. So, once I take my initial deposit safe in Vault, I keep gambling with "profit" setting certain limits, specially to go down, and start gamble. If I am losing half of profit, I stop and take a break. Saving the principal when having a green path is a way to be sure that I am respecting my gambling limits. My opinion. Good luck.

Withdrawing instead of using the vault reduces the temptation for me to give it back... yeah, very true,taking from vault is eazy, vaulting isnt taking out, its just leaving for later.. withdrawing well.. a bit better,but prob best to cashout. oh i might need to try such app that locks 2fa.. lol sounds.. annoying (when youre in gambling crazy) and usefull.

Or what? if I will convert into money and buy something like the goods needed and useful for sure. I do not want to when it is still in the form of a coin and keep it in vault I am afraid that later I want to play and take everything to play and do not want to end up losing my balance.
jualid Posted August 30, 2019 #8 Posted August 30, 2019 The best thing to do after a big win is of course withdraw it to your wallet and enjoy your winnings. Based on my experience, i always busted if i keep playing. So it's better to withdraw you winnings and maybe left it some to play more.

My goal with VGO was Just to get to $1000 and I would withdraw. Since I went past that, I didn’t decide to cashout $1000 and use the rest to trade with. Instead, I used common sense, realised that even if I played with the skins, I would only end up losing them. If you ever make a deal with yourself, STICK TO IT! Since then on Stake, I haven’t done any risky bets and I am just working my vault up slowly. I started with $0 in VGO and made it up to $3000. On Stake, I am only setting goals of $100 this time. It is far more realistic and I will vault anything that I can make, save up for mega races and withdraw the vault balance when it reaches $100.

From the time till withdrawal i not play even single game. I always keep some balance even after withdrawal. If its considerable win i make some rains like 10-20xrp , 1000-2000 doge etc. (after withdrawal) I never win big amount like 0.05btc. My highest win is 3x with 23000 doges.

I don't know which app he used but you can search in google and found best option for you. I have heard that there are some wallets too where you can lock your fund for a certain amount of time. Like few hours day week even month. That will be great for keeping fund safe and keep the winning amount safely without redepo. Cause most of us addicted. Though that may make you angry while you bust your balance left for gambling and can't use balance you locked in app or wallet. But overall it will good for stay in profit.

I bust all the time when after big win I come back to play just a bit more. Happened to me yesterday even though it wasn't the big win but the base for something bigger that I wanted to gamble next day. Unfortunately I busted it. It always like that. I will have to lock my apps from now on lol
