How do you store your backup Seed Phrase/Private Keys?

I was gifted a Trezor some time ago and have been practicing using it with different amounts, storing and recovering the crypto. I feel quite secure using it so far.

However when it comes to the final backup of the seed, I still have to write it on paper and keep it somewhere, right? I don't want to keep it in the same house, because a fire, flood etc could wipe everything out. I don't want to keep it where people can accidentally see it too. Should I break it in half and give it to different people I trust? Encrypt it further? Make a painting or something and hide it in public? Keep it in a bank vault?

After reviewing many options I still feel like there's pros and cons to each one. Anything that's more complicated is safer, but if something happens to me or I get hit on the head, a simple recovery becomes unlikely. Simple solutions are easy to recover from but if anyone gets their eyes on them through carelessness, the money is gone.

So I hope there's more security-minded Stakers out there, how do you keep your backup safe?

i store them in a paper, a memory card and in a note version ! i once save a private key with 0.1 btc in my lap top, and accidently lost it ! so i am more careful now, i make many copies to make sure i wont lose the keys again, its money after all, we should be carefull dealing with such a thing :)

I save my keys on a flash drive, also printed out on paper.  There is a copy I keep hidden away at home and another copy was given to someone close to me with instructions on how to use them if something happens to me.... they are not into crypto yet.

I came with same problem when I had to write down in paper my seed and 12 words and private key.... So, what I did is to store it in three or four different places, including my mom's place.  And it is written in a single plain white paper sheet with no other legend than the twelve words and the wallet info.  For any who finds it he will never know what it is or where it belongs.  Some friend told me that what he does is to change the last word, and he also changed the last number digit by adding +3, so he will know that the last number is what is shown less 3.... I guess that this is another way to secure what is secure.... But my strong advise is to save it in three or four different sites....you never know.  And will be better if you hide the paper like in the library or basement, or some other place where nobody knows about it.  Good luck with that Hide and seek game !

Bitcoin is not obscure knowledge any more, how many % of people in the world do you estimate can recognize a string of 12 BIP words? You only need one of them to find the paper, with copies in multiple places. I would not be able to sleep well at night with that arrangement.

Just in case, I keep the keys on a flash drive, and I keep them on paper.  There is a copy that I hide at home, and another copy has been given to a loved one with instructions on how to use it if something happens to me....
And there is a hidden file on the computer.

step3: Find the physical medium for this code (it can be anything, paper, a file on a flash drive, or even a secure archive in the cloud). The main thing is that you know which coding sequence you used.
