Mahdirakib87 Posted September 3, 2019 #1 Posted September 3, 2019 As a gambler no one can say himself as a winner always. Sometimes we win and other time we lose. But why we lose? There are many reasons behind our lose. It doesn't happen itself. We makes ourselves as loser. We know that mostly we lose for our greediness. But greediness isn't the only thing here. Sometimes we lose for over confidence. We think our luck will never fade away and stop. We are winning and the winning will continue for so long. But it doesn't good a good thought. For the overconfidence we lose many time by continue playing and placing big bet. On the other side we also lose for fear. We fear to place big bet and don't want to lose. But the fear won't let us win anything much and when we try to keep the fear out and play big we just lose. What do you think? You lose for over confidence or fear?
SamyGo3sHIGH Posted September 3, 2019 #2 Posted September 3, 2019 Definitely because of too much self-confidence. You have a long time luck and remember that it will be fine again. But finally you have the most losses. So just play with what you can lose. And have fun. Like who you would drink yourself one evening.
Chikou1306 Posted September 3, 2019 #3 Posted September 3, 2019 sometimes because of both, greed and overconfidence ! so yeah when you make some profit you start acting like you can win more and nothing is going to stop you, and it always ends up with losing !
cukup2 Posted September 3, 2019 #4 Posted September 3, 2019 true when we play with excessive confidence that will ruin what we have gained, I often experience it where we play without calculating that our balance will not be strong if there is a long red streak. but if it's been lucky from the beginning it should be if we play for a long time more careful because our luck has begun to run out
wngo123 Posted September 3, 2019 #5 Posted September 3, 2019 90% of the time I lose for overconfidence especially when I reach high balance then I get that feeling of ultimate winner, nothing can stop me and I continue to play until I begin to lose and I don't admit that I'm losing so I'm continuing to play usually until total bust. Funny that even when going down from 1 million to 2500 sats, when I'm at 2500 sats I do still feel that I will recover LMAO. Well that was long time ago when I was unexperienced stake gambler. Now I try to fight this crazy greed and overconfidence. I do play less risky, when I have big balance, but that didn't go well either because even when you play carefully you still lose. And many times I could win a lot of money but because of the fear I cashout earlier or choose the wrong card (hilo). So I guess if I need to answer your question I would say it's a little bit of both overconfidence and fear.
CntryBoy Posted September 3, 2019 #6 Posted September 3, 2019 I have been the victim of both at some point or another. Lately I have been trying not to let either get the best of me, as I have learned over time that these 2 things will generally cause more losses than wins.
sheenazbay Posted September 4, 2019 #7 Posted September 4, 2019 I think because it's too confident. like I did just now, I played dice and got a long red, I thought I would hit it, but it didn't, until my balance ran out, I didn't hit it. it's because of my excessive self-confidence
barbaris Posted September 4, 2019 #8 Posted September 4, 2019 Greed is the main factor because of which we lose. Luck also plays a big role in our losses or wins. Self-control over yourself is important in order to avoid more losses, but basically I hope for good luck.
kayke94 Posted September 4, 2019 #9 Posted September 4, 2019 yeah i mostly loss cause of greed and overconfidence when im getting a little green streak, but this mostly is just for a short period of time before the red losing streaks comes in and then i switch over to rage bet till the last couple cent i have left. at that point i start to realise what im doing and switch back to baby bets
