Qvvaser109 Posted September 8, 2019 #1 Posted September 8, 2019 Did you ever wonder..... "What if I didn't change my seed? Would I have won?" There is a cool feature that I don't ever see anyone talking about. It's in the verification section here at Stake. After you request a new server seed hash all the bets you made with the previous server seed become verifiable. That's pretty much common knowledge, I hope. But there is a cool bonus to this implementation of provably fair. You can add in any nonce to the verification fields and see into the future that could've been . If you really want to torture yourself you can click through and find out exactly how many more bets it would've taken for you to hit that big one. There's more to this too. You can also go back in time and find out what the result would've been had you played a different game or difficulty on a nonce you already played out. Try it out... Have fun with it. Make sure to let me know here what your experience was or has been with this feature, If you need help finding it or using it, Im glad to help.
sheenazbay Posted September 8, 2019 #2 Posted September 8, 2019 I've been told this by my friend, but I've never tried it. As far as I know, it's useful to know that the game here is fair, so the site and players don't know the results. so there is no cheating. usually called provably fair
CntryBoy Posted September 8, 2019 #3 Posted September 8, 2019 To be perfectly honest, I know the option is there to verify bets, but I have never used it because I completely trust the system here. I never thought about using it in the way you have described... I may give it a look, but it may just make me mad if I see I would have hit the big one! 😅
wngo123 Posted September 8, 2019 #4 Posted September 8, 2019 I didn't know about this feature, but for sure I won't use it lol I don't want to know what would have been. First it's completely useless knowledge, there is nothing i can do with that information that could help me in any way, second it's just waste of time , i would prefer to spend this time on betting instead of checking what my bet would look like.
Thepug Posted September 8, 2019 #5 Posted September 8, 2019 I don’t need to verify any bets because of the trust that I have already built up with stake. I know that they are completely probably fair and like any gambling site, they just have house edge which gives them their profits. At the same time, I am having fun so I’m glad that they are making profits, as it can prolong the existence of the site. Also, if I ever was to hit an insane multiplier, then maybe I would look at the roll of that bet because of how rare it would be. I don’t see the point in it though currently as I win some and I lose some, so there is nothing to check / see if it is probably fair.

But that doesn't mean I won't be verifying bets from time to time. That is the whole point of "provably fair", If we just take the casino's word for it then what's the point? We may as well be playing at any other casino. Provably fair mechanisms exist so we can use them.
jualid Posted September 9, 2019 #7 Posted September 9, 2019 Yes i usually did that too. After i got a super long red on baccarat before and i gave up, after that i check my seed and the result was still red on the next 2 bets. Thank god i gave up on that point, if i continue i will bust more.
santiker Posted September 9, 2019 #8 Posted September 9, 2019 the truth is the best thing there to do because there are times when you try to get something good and it takes a lot of losses and you don't look at the next rounds if you earn sales with profits or if you win and lose them
cukup2 Posted September 9, 2019 #9 Posted September 9, 2019 thank you for giving me new information and new knowledge in this forum for me, but if only the results that are released can be close to what will come out later this web may be bankrupt quickly haha, fortunately this is only a trial and not completely really close to the results of next roll.
Enzo Posted September 9, 2019 #10 Posted September 9, 2019 I've checked this a little at first when I was new. But at this point i never bother using it. I know stake is fair and if I want to see what I would have rolled I just roll it

I recommend this to anyone who stuck on long red and curious what the result is next.

nuuuitsjdragon Posted September 9, 2019 #14 Posted September 9, 2019 This is an interesting feature though, thanks for sharing! However, now that I have this information at hand, it is bound to make me feel the angst of 'what could have been.' which is counter-productive as having this knowledge will most probably feel slightly negative.
Mahdirakib87 Posted September 9, 2019 #15 Posted September 9, 2019 Haven't think that way and never checked it. That would be funny. I just change seed and continue rolling for green. That will give little pain if I see that the next roll will be green. Will do it on my next time when I will change seed. Thanks for the idea.

I will try to learn it, and maybe it will make me more happy to review how my history would have happened without changing the seed.

Not always. Sometimes it's good to know that you made the right decision. What if you changed your seed and then won? If you went back to see what would've happened you could find out that maybe you would've lost the next 200 rolls and made the right decision to change your seed. 9 hours ago, jualid said: Every 1k-5k bets made with pair, it depends on which game i want to play. Even so, I feel it is our duty as players to verify from time to time.

BombMagneto Posted September 11, 2019 #22 Posted September 11, 2019 I dont check it, i just played. Stake said probably fair i trust them in thay
Gg111 Posted September 11, 2019 #23 Posted September 11, 2019 Yes I check normally each time I play how much I rolled to know should I change the seed or not

Zanozka465 Posted September 11, 2019 #25 Posted September 11, 2019 Yeah, it's probably fair, but when you play, you don't think about it.
