The idea of a 24 hour race?

What do you guys think of the idea someone had for the other site for a 24 hour mega race? That's quite a long time to race.

I wonder how many players will lose sleep over this race

I think it's a awesome idea and it's one i feel like ive thought of to myself before also. It's exciting and gives more players a chance to feel like they're participating in the race.

What do you guys think of this new concept?

should call it a marathon and not race

In my opinion it would be better. Cause people will have long time to play and place in wager. There are people at stake from all over the world. In many places people may stay busy at the time when stake making the race now. But if they make it for 24 hours people from every place will participate.

Cool ideas with crazy race instead lol. It will make all stake citizen awake 24 hours... damn crazy

They do these on their sister site prime dice if you are interested in a longer race.    Check it out.   Maybe it suits you better.

Well if it only has longer duration, it wont matter much and i know nobody will lose sleep over this lol

because we all know that the last hour of the race is where we really race. The first 20 hours would be nothing in my opinion and will only be full of suspense in the last hour only

I have already told my family that I will miss her.  24 hours race is a very long one, I wonder what would be the first place wager amount!  It will be fun to try it, just to find out how sick we all are about gambling or about the community or else.  Primedice will soon run the race and will be nice if not to be part of it at least to take a look on the primedice community behalf.  Most of the primedice community members are here too, so we can easily spot how it will go if devs and mods and support members decide to run that project here.  Will be fun.  I am sure I will be there as I am in most of races.  Good luck.

I really like this idea, to have a 24 hour race would certainly make things interesting. Not only that but we could have bigger prize pools to if they are extended. Imagine a race that was a week long and had a prize pool of 30k lol.. it would be nice.

this is like a race in primedice, a race that runs for 24 hours. I don't like it, I prefer a short race like the MotoGP race. if the race is done for 24 hours, it's not like a competition.

Primedice announced they will have 24 hours mega race too. It's a good idea but i think stake want the faster one only 1:30 hours like usual for mega race. Maybe a super mega race, 24 hours with $10,000 prize pool

in Primedice race is 24hr i don't think its going well as i compared to here stake race is much better than pd and interesting because i know people can't play whole day for race recently Eddie started megarace also on pd and timing is same as before 24hr too long race can't even see full 1 day what's going on hard to participate

24 hour race is quite good idea.
because sometime we can't match our time for particular 2-4 hours race. (some peeps might be sleeping , busy in work etc)
but if race is for 24 hour every one get can participate as per their preffered time.
Even we no need to be hurry to climb place and put some crazy bet.

I remember first taking part in few races which as I can recall were 45 min and 60 mins and I really enjoyed it. For me 2 hours is as much as I can go and I certainly wouldn't participate in any race longer than this. But that's just my preference.

The longer it is, the lesser the excitement I believe. It sounds fun to have it maybe once in a while (maybe weekly). 

And yes a race that lasts a day should definitely be called a marathon. Most people would only wager while they are awake or free and hope the others don't wager as much as they do.

Sounds like a cool idea. I've already seen it in Primedice, the most active user wins. It's way more fun this way while you might need not only a high balance but a brain.

wth! its not possible, people using drugs are the one who can do those things, plus its not healthy, stake should also promote health first before gambling, they should put some advertisment encouraging people not to play too much that may affect their health. just like on cigarettes, they are giving warnings that it could be deadly.

again if the race is based on wagers all the ones that has less then the other players that already have about .5 btc has no chance.. if they based the race on profit and have the players start at the same amount.. then we can call that race.. race always starts at an even odds..so no one has a advantage above another. this will separate the ones that really play smart. instead bettng 1.0 on dice and just let it go and hope it doesnt go under that.. rather having the most profit from what you start with then just wagering.

It's not a bad idea, but not sure I would stay up for 24 hours straight to participate in it.  I may try to climb the leader board during normal play, then let it run on auto while I sleep to continue wagering and hope to move up that way while not actively playing.

I think this is not good 24 hours race and I think 24 hours race distrb so many users rotten works and also distrb sleep but yes some users give so many times to playing games maybe 24 hours race good for them I think 1,2 hours race is perfect and you participate easily and you enjoy this small time race

I would worry about health issues. Doing this for 24 hours would be serious hazard for people's health. I don' think it is wise idea. I hope 24 hour race will never be implemented, but there is other idea for example results from races from Monday to Friday add up and then winners are announced on Saturday before megarace

So you could win each of the weekday race but also have additional prize for participating in all weekday races and for your position there.

wow, this will be boring, since no person can play for 24 hrs, haha, no possible i think, 2 hrs is ok, dont make any boring giveaway, and its not safe too, will kill pepz that force to play for 24 hrs, and how much will they get for playing 24hrs? 1 million dollars?
