And it dominance in crypto market changed time to time. Now btc have 69% dominance in crypto market. Once it was down nearly 30% last year. Now it's up enough. What you think people are getting their interest back in btc? Will it continue? Btc dominance in crypto market will increase more or people will move to alt coin?
cryptofly Posted September 11, 2019 #2 Posted September 11, 2019 Yes, no doubt bitcoin is the king, and as far as I understand all the crypto coins are around bitcoin. I became a trader time ago and the fact that bitcoin dominance is going up makes "altseason" almost impossible to exist. This year has been a very bad one for those little shit coins I have. Some Bitcoin Maximalists are saying that, no matter how up or down that dominance percent goes, bitcoin will always be ruling and that the alt coins will disappear sooner or later, if not all the coins at least a big majority. I think they are right. From my own experience, and this happened few days ago, some Alt coins are becoming scam or just going down without any developers activity, neither from the technical department neither from the community or the owners or the sponsors; I am talking about COVA coin where the developers just disappear from the crypto map and let the project sink with all the investors (me included) in the ship. Many like this will happen. Meanwhile I will keep doing a more stronger DYOR to avoid this that just happened to me few days ago. As a matter of fact, the rest of year I will become BTC maximalist, maybe next year I will start to invest in other coins. My opinion. Good luck .
allisonn Posted September 11, 2019 #3 Posted September 11, 2019 I believe in btc and I think, well, it may not be alt season, but some kind of alt-ish season will eventually come out. When? Who knows, but I doubt it will be in the near future. Maybe next year? Market will cycle and the more you believe something is impossible, the more someone else is rewarded when it becomes a reality. With that being said it's not like alts are doing anything to stay relevant, other than random partnership with mcdonalds announcement posts. The completely useless ones have already been abandoned. I'm sure some stuff is being done, just that it's doubtful it will translate into market share anytime soon.

What is important to mention is the effort that bitcoin community is doing in order to create mass adoption, such as that BKKT futures in NYSE happening today. This mass adoption will make harder for the alts to explode as would like.
