Do you think gambling will be legalized in every country and state?

Hey guys,

So, as we know, gambling is strictly forbidden in some countries and states of the world and as a result of gambling there, you can go to jail.

Do you think that in 20-50 years gambling will be legalized in every place of earth?

I don't feel like it'd happen, but at least in some countries it may be legalized as a result of time.

I don't think so. Gambling will never legalized in all country in my opinion. There are many reasons behind it. Gambling isn't a good thing. It cause for many crimes. People lose their money by this. Why all country should legalize a bad thing like gambling? Do you think gambling is a good thing?

Gambling is a good thing sometimes, it is not always to make people convict crimes and stuff, if the people are bad themselves, they'll convict crimes, it's not the gambling doing it.

No I don't believe that. I don't see any reason why gambling would be legalized especially in all countries around the world. The main reason is that gambling is considered as something bad, second the government love the control and they have their own business which is lottery, heavy taxed, thats why they don't allow competition

Well well!! I don't believe it, what you said. How gambling could be good thing sometimes! Can you tell any proper example that how it would be good?  It's just waste of time money. It gives pressure depression. You can say gambling gives fun. Until when? Not forever.

gambling is indeed prohibited in some countries .. even in religious law gambling is prohibited ...
but why is gambling still available ???
in my opinion this is due to the global influence in terms of the economy ...
and gambling has been around ever since...

I think gambling will always be prohibited because a lot of people who are crazy about gambling end up with criminal acts and it will be very unsettling for some people who don't gamble because gambling behavior that is already very addicted will be difficult to cure and the effect will be seen in society. .

it's true .. gambling is supposed to be banned in every country, because of the high negative effects occurring in the community ..
Gambling is indeed the wrong thing, but some people say that gambling is the solution to poverty, ... maybe because he always wins ... and is rich from gambling ...

the only way to go to jail for gambling is if you gamble huge amounts likie millions on matches and stuff (which is illegal everywhere) 
but if you gamble such a money you know there is no way for you to go to jail
people in my country get 5-10 years when they kill someone 
if there was gambling ban i doubt they would give u more then 1 month haha
however dosnt matter where gambling is banned people from all around the world gamble and no1 cares 
if you do online gambling without id verification no1 will ever know you even gamble ..... 
and there are so many websites that dont request id lol

There are so many religions that despise gambling and there can be huge costs for the government for addicts/problem gamblers. Most countries just ban it to prevent any controversy and reduce their government spending on social issues like this. 

In the UK, all gambling winnings are not taxed and it is only the businesses that get taxed. That is why I love it here and enjoy it so much

No I don't think all world countries allow to gambling because about gambling create so many problems and issues .

I think gambling just allowed some countries and I don't see in future other countries allow this

the government has a lot of money ... the government also plays gambling, ...
rivals ???? ... it seems you are wrong in this matter ... the government is the richest group of people in one country ... why should they be afraid to compete ... they can make money anytime without having to bother thinking about it ...

It won't happen. there is many factor about that like culture different and religions. In some country gambling is prohibits because gambling is against religious rules, and religiuos people there wont broke their religious rules I guess.

I dont think gambling will be legalized in every country or state.

Sure there are benefits of gambling to the government as they get so much taxes.

But there will be surely some governments who would care more about the health of its citizens and save them from going rags rather than collecting some taxes and profit.

Then there are states where religion is the Constitution and hence since religions forbid gambling, it will not be legalized there !

I think, it is very bad idea to legalize gambling and others casinos, because some group of people can't stop, and lost all theirs money, and then theirs family will have very bad situations
