Brainy Posted September 23, 2019 #1 Posted September 23, 2019 Firstly I and everybody else can only be happy that eddie and stake have enough money to "spare" that they are creating such challenges. But. I want to hear your opinion on forum challenges and races. What do you guys preffer? The races with bigger prize pool, or forum challenges with lower prize pool? For me I absolutely love forum challenges. It gives me time to do them in a weeks time period and whenever i can i try to do them.. even though i almost never profit from them.. I never take part of the races as i dont have enough budget to be doing it, and i couldnt even cope with 100th ranked players. What do you think about it? Do you preffer forum challenges, telegram challenges, races, or nothing at all. I'd like to hear your thoughs. Brainy
SLFJ Posted September 23, 2019 #2 Posted September 23, 2019 Definitely not in race prizes, anything hut races! If they would make the prizes for races bigger more whales would join in and normal players wouldn't have chances to win anything.
cukup2 Posted September 23, 2019 #3 Posted September 23, 2019 I prefer the challenge of forums that are not chased with a short time and in my opinion the challenge of the forum is quickly resolved with a small balance is different from the race can take a large balance because there will be a lot of people who follow the race with a balance greater than me.

In race user need to make huge wager all can't do this. But both are good for different sector people.

You just need to know what strategy is the most efficient and can result in you breaking even or in small profit at the end of the race. I have placed very high multiple times and I have made a lot of money. As for the challenges, I find them so much fun. The forum ones are a lot less competitive than the telegram ones, but both of them are equally as enjoyable for me.

Race is a very good event and so many people participating in race and enjoying this event

It was also a big part of where I got my balance when I was a newbie since I am not a big bank player. I don't mind joining forum challenges with low prize pool as long as i don't lose more than what I will get as prize.. As for races, at first I was not feeling good joining it since I thought that only big bank players are the ones that will win based on what I see on early days of races in Stake but that one time where I didn't really intended to join the race but still won on a decent place changed my mind. Also, now that the wager is a big factor in having a high VIP status, races are good timing to bet in my opinion. Extra money if you end up having a place in top 100 while wagering for a star level up. Top 50 twitter bonus giveaway on Mega Race is also a plus for me.

Telegram challenges take almost no time, course that's the point. And they also allow 0 bets so it's not as fun when you hit the ridiculous target.

For me as long as it is free I'm willing to join. It's not that you don't remember Stake Community is growing and I can see it on TG Challenges when the challenges to easy boom in 1 sec many will submit there bet ID's.

Brainy I personally am more for the forum challenges etc... anything other than Races as it's quite difficult to place for positions. Can't deny that I may be employing the wrong strategy - should use low-medium variance more often but I just can't get over it! The rest of the competitions allow for more creativity and is way more interesting than say, another race for the umpteen time lol.

Brainy I like the forum and discard challenges and I also don't like races because it's really hard to win in those. I would like if they reduce the race rewards and put more budget in the forum rewards
Xarv Posted October 3, 2019 #15 Posted October 3, 2019 I haven't tried out any forum challenge yet due to low balance, I do wish they tweeked a little with race tho, I find that the prize vs wagering amount isn't exactly fair, I haven't gotten out my pens and papers to calculate but I feel like I get more from rakeback during the race than the prize it self.
sahil777 Posted October 27, 2019 #16 Posted October 27, 2019 Both have diffrent impact on our gambling, and both have their own value the more ways to get bonus is more better, i dont think its cool if you stop one promotion to add those funds to boost other promotion, it will make everybody's chances more less to win something, forum challenges are cool so almost everyone can participate but in race only high roller wins, so race and forum challenges both are diffrent kind of promotions.
niki014 Posted October 27, 2019 #17 Posted October 27, 2019 well i dont do challenges cuz i dunno t many people in them low price and races are just not profitable yeah if you play not for the race and in mean while you get some nice spot in race then its all cool cuz you jsut get some extra coins but otherwise if you chase for spot it just aint profitable maybe only saturday race there is a few couple of spots that are good somewhere in the middle 40-50 and + the 25$ from twitter and its all good but 90% of the time i cant chase/join the race on saturday
zulfandina Posted October 28, 2019 #18 Posted October 28, 2019 I prefer the weekly challenges of the forum over other challenges including racing, because we can do this weekly challenge overnight during the week. while if we take a race that only takes an hour, then I think it requires a large amount of capital and a good strategy in betting, considering the competition in stake is quite hard and the stake also has professional gamblers to be beaten. it's quite difficult for someone like me
