Enzo Posted September 24, 2019 #1 Posted September 24, 2019 Does anyone have a certain card that they mostly skip? Like if a A comes up do you skip it or take your chances? I've noticed, in my seed i get a LOT of double A/K. So sometimes if I can afford the hunt, i'll just pick same everytime it lands on K or A. Worked well a few times but most times I don't hit it. Back on topic though, I do skip a lot of 7's when they come up. I get so unsure about what the next one could be that half the time I end up skipping them. Some people may feel the same about 2's or 9's. Let me know how you play Hilo
jinz Posted September 24, 2019 #2 Posted September 24, 2019 Most of the time, I skip 7 whenever it shows up after I open few cards while trying to have a more than 5x multiplier. 7 is a trap card and 90% of the time that I have guts not skipping it I end up choosing the wrong choice. I don't have any other cards that I usually skip, just 7.
DCYuma Posted September 24, 2019 #3 Posted September 24, 2019 It's depend on the multiplier. I dunno usually skip cause I will regret the card if it's not against my instinct that's why either win or lose I must accept cause it's my decision anyway but if I get like 100x Multiply already I sometimes skip but there is 1 time but when I skip then it's a K then I go lo and it's a double K all I did is SMILE. I don't really like to smash something or do anything around cause I will do a double regret afterwards for example you lose on a bet then you smash your mouse and your mouse destroy/malfunction then it's a double Busted.
SLFJ Posted September 24, 2019 #4 Posted September 24, 2019 Yeah, I skip 7's too, 8s, 9s, 6s aswell, depends on what I am going for and if I'm going to all in im probably going to skip the majority of cards till they get to K/A's.
barbaris Posted September 24, 2019 #5 Posted September 24, 2019 Yes, there are such cards, I always skip 7 and 4, because it seems to me that whenever I hit higher or lower, I lose because of this, I skip these cards. But I think every player has their own cards that are skipped.
wngo123 Posted September 25, 2019 #6 Posted September 25, 2019 When I see A or K I try to take my chances and look for double A and K. However sometimes I don't. When I have many cards open however I don't take that risk and go down when I see K or up when I see A, and when I really see that I have big profit then I even skip K or A because I learnt that when you have many cards open that K or A can be tricky and can come out as double especially K for some reason. Funny but there are more double K when many cards are open and less A (I remember in the past it used to be opposite) Do I skip certain cards? Yes, sometimes 2 , 3, 5, or even 6. Mostly 7.
nuuuitsjdragon Posted September 27, 2019 #7 Posted September 27, 2019 Mostly 7(s) are skipped if I happen to come across them in the midst of a win streak. Before that though, it’s anyone’s game and the only rule I have is to hit up on 4(s) and down on 10(s).
allisonn Posted September 28, 2019 #8 Posted September 28, 2019 I used to skip 7/8 but nowadays I skip A/K more often than not, I'd rather take my fair-ish chances with 7 than die on AA/KK. Just feels so unsatisfying.

I think we shouldn't play the same always and try to change the strategy often otherwise we end up busting.
