The main cause of defeat is greed

in gambling there is always losing and winning ..
and of course there are only two choices that can be chosen by gamblers ... nothing else ... but many say that the defeat comes from the nature of greed .. it seems I disagree with this conjecture ..
if we see who bet on the position of high rollers ... are they not in the greedy category ... ??? I think they are the most greedy gamblers ... and in the end they are the ones who win the most bets because of their greed ...

how do you all think ... ??? greed is miserable or even profitable .. ???

Yes it is, I have lost this week a lot because of greed, but on the other hand I try to build my balance in the last 3 days and nothing works and I wouldn't say I lose now because of greed , I'm not trying to be greedy just get some profit slowly and nothing seem to work :/

Everyone says it's greed and only greed etc. but I don't want to play as much and I let my friend hold my crypto until I reach a certain amount and sell it, that's not greed which makes u bust.

I do agree with this. A lot of gamblers don’t set themselves limits, resulting in them losing their money, giving back to the house what is rightly theirs. We all need to set ourselves limits and this can prevent defeat, if we don’t have greed. :)

Also, you should never gamble anything that you can’t afford to lose. Whenever I see someone in chat saying that they “hate Stake” and how the site is “rigged”, I just know how they just wasted all of their money on the site and are frustrated.

If only they kept the money and didn’t play with money that they couldn’t afford to lose, they wouldn’t be in the situation with them being banned from talking in the chat xD

Greed's your enemy on Stake here, 90% of the times I bust is due to me not following my strategy and betting more than I should be, because who doesn't like a quick buck?

I look at it like this, better be earning small amounts than being in the negative.

in my opinion if we play greedy it might reap the results at the end but if greedy and do not want to be patient I find it hard to also make a profit because before we get a big payout we have run out of balance and no more for betting. but I prefer playing with little risk and playing with moderate payouts so I'm not too affected by longred.

The thing is highrollers might have greed but they don't have the specific emotion that is called fear. They have a huge bankroll and they can afford to lose what they are betting and they know when to stop and hence that differentiates us from them because we have only greed and fear which is a deadly combination.

There seems to be a point too ... playing patiently indeed yields pretty good results if you have a good balance ... but, many people who play patiently but instead find destruction ... it seems patience and greed can be juxtaposed in certain ways

I don't think it's greed alone that makes you lose but a combination of a few factors including poor money management, not having the required luck, stubborn refusal to stop even when things are not going well, being emotionally tied to a certain setting/factor.

There are just so many, many factors that will contribute towards a eventual loss!

I think everything not come in greedy because so many people's lose in starting game and some time games not give us good results and we go for recovery and lose all balance.

I think when you win some big amount and you play for more biggest this is a greedy thing and in gambling this is very dangerous

greed always happens in every gambling ... even so, if greed doesn't exist, I think those high-dwellers in the room don't have to be there either ... because they prove to be very greedy in the bets they make ... but they actually reap the victory and not destruction ...
even so, greed is really not good to do especially in gambling, you're a true friend ...

we don't know when our luck is with us, sometimes I get greedy and make me get more and more profit, but sometimes greed makes me break down and lose it all. so it all depends on each other's luck

Haha gered is the way of losing! Haha play slow en Enjoy play hard and cry

hahaha .... how to enjoy playing hard while playing slow is always invincible. if playing slowly can win, then playing hard is the next step. everything starts from the bottom and will start to move bit by bit up and its end ..

Mostly defeat comes for greed. We don't stop after making a good profit. We want to win more. Greed set our mind to play more and win. Then we take risk and result bust most of the time. But sometimes greed gives huge win too.

I disagree as there are so many factors left unexplained in your conclusion!

For starters, just because a player is a High-Roller does not naturally place them in the 'greedy' category.

Think about it this way, if I started out with $1 and made it to $2 - that's a 100% increase.

However, if  you turn $1,000  -> $1,100 - it's only a 10% increase, but still so many more times than what I have made.

There's also exposure - High Rollers get noticed a lot when they are winning, but you can be sure that they have their losing session as well.

Naturally, we will remember their huge wins but for their losses to be remembered, it has to be a really epic amount, agreed?

Greed is a huge enemy for the poor/average as we desire that. If the rich already have it, there's not so much to be greedy about, lol.

Мы не можем сказать наверняка, потому что на это влияет слишком много факторов, от человека до удачи

Hello,

I feel that this is a true statement and here is why:
1. Greed will take control of you when gambling, and instead of cashing out your money you will always want more. Because of this, this is usually where you will rip the profit you make.

2. When you get greedy, you get irrational. Instead of playing it safe like you know you should, you get on a roll and start playing dumb. Because of this, you make rash decisions and can ultimately make stupid decisions that lead to ripping.

3. When you build up, instead of withdrawing after losing a little, you want to win back what you lost, and instead of looking at the profit you look at the most recent negative, this can lead to ripping.

I hope this helps.

Have a great day! :D

Hello ,

Unfortunately for me this is very true, i bet patiently with small base bets and win small profits each day , and when i reach a certain bankroll of what i save , i increase my bets like i have unlimited balance , greed comes to me every time , sometimes i x10 my basebets and lose instantly , this is so true. Now im back to very small basebets once again and hopefully greed wont come to me when i build a decent balance once again. After i lose everything thats the time i always realize that i was too greedy.

Hope we can stop being greedy and be satisfied of what we profit even though its small.
