Max Bet Warning

I think that Stake should have a warning for max bet. I know so many people that had the max bet enabled and accidentally clicked it, losing their balance.

You could make the counter argument that you can disable it in the settings, but some people just like having it enabled. From previous history, I like pressing max bet and then using the 1/2 button multiple times to reduce the bet. It can make betting more convenient as I don’t have to start from 1 satoshi and double up, and I don’t have to manually enter my bet amount.

What the site can do is allow you to enable a “warning for max bet” in the settings. If you were to click max bet then, it could come up with a message confirming that you want to do it with a “yes” or “no” option.

I am positive that many other people would agree with me on this, but what do you think? Have you clicked max bet before and do you think that this feature could have helped you?

Damn you are a god for saying these words i mean hell ye

I know that it would have saved me in so many situations though. Sometimes, we might press the max bet button sub consciously when we aren’t meant to, and this question could make us realise what we were doing. Even if it was intentional, it would make you second guess yourself and you might not go all in.

This could save so many people from losing all of their money though and I know that max bets happen way too often. People need to have this setting to have a sense of security on the site. We all make stupid bets whether they are intentional or not, and this feature could literally be a life saver.

I have max bet disabled but still I do ma bets sometimes with just pressing 2x many times. So this way I can't do it by mistake. Is the max button enabled by default now or not? Funny I don't remember disabling it, so I guess it's not by default. In this case anyone who is enabling it know what he is doing, so no warning is necessary.

I've lost it countless times, and at some point I've already made a comment about it, on many other sites they have added warnings for when we selected the maximum bet, I think it's time for Stake to add too.

I completely disagree with you on this. I know so many other sites that have this feature and it has helped out people that I know in so many situations.

For example, they might have made a deposit to the site and they didn’t realise that their money went through. They make an all in bet because they think that they are only wagering a small amount and it was actually their money that went through. Luckily, the warning was on and they realised how much they were betting, so they disabled that bet.

Then, the colour that they were about to bet on (on roulette) was actually incorrect and they would have lose their balance. Luckily, this warning saved them and it really was a bank roll saver for them. They nearly lost a $100 bet, when it was meant to be $1, with them losing it if it was placed.

You just need to know scenarios like this to realise that a warning could be useful, and you could find yourself in this scenario in the future :/

For me there's no Issue about the max bet you can turn off it on settings
If you max your bet and the max bet is turn off it's your intention to max your bet
by pressing 2x or S.

I believe that if something that tells us when we are going to bet all our coins should be activated since it is giving you an alert of what you want to do and thus confirm if you want to continue with the MAXIMUM BET.

I strongly  support  you ideas that we all need to get warning not to bet max bet in a roll when we are too tired or losing control of our loses . Everyone can make such mistakes in gambling world so it is very necessary to implement to notify the player .

If you don't want to use max bet option disable it. I always keep it enable. But I wouldn't like the warning. Cause it will make me wait after placing all in bet as warning. I need to confirm again to place bet.

I am happy doing things like that and when playing at stake I want to click on the Maximum bet then I have to enter the amount of my balance because there is no maxsimum button in stake like in other websites. I often do when I'm carried away with emotions in playing.

I like playing max bet and I make so many times max bet I think when you play gambling you must play cool and fresh mind and you know about your bet amounts before play anything .

I think this is better if stake give a warning on max bet Because sometimes when you play you're not in control and by mistake you make max bet

I always activate it, and if I get a long red, I always do all in, and if I still get red, I will use another coin and press the max button and do all in again, and so on for other coins, sometimes it hits and sometimes makes all my coins are used up
