Do you feel that the only reason you gamble is because you are bored?

Hello Stakers ,

Recently, I have noticed a very consistent pattern. Whenever I have nothing to do, and am super bored, this is when I am at my most 'vulnerable' state for depositing. 

Whenever I am really bored, I get a really strong force that makes me really want to gamble in that moment. I wonder, do I actually enjoy gambling, or is it that I just don't like to be bored. I feel that gambling is a good way to fill the time, and that unfortunately I fill my boredom with gambling.

What do all of you think about this?

There are days when we can feel bored, but you fill your boredom time with gambling, so do I, but I want to try something else when I'm bored. like going fishing, because. in my opinion, filling boredom with gambling will make us more bored when we lose

I think when we feel bored we do some other work like me when I feel bored I go on snoker club and play snoker or going to playing cricket or go to market.

I think gambling you play when you feel relx and cool because I think gambling not good when you feel bored

This is actually raised as an issue at begambleaware.org -- never gamble when you are just bored. If you really want to play just because you are bored, then deposit at a minimum and play in tiny amounts as if you do not care about the result.  That way your boredom will alleviate without any big risks being involved.

Of course, each player’s dream is to win some money or a lot. A kind of entertainment and adrenaline rush. But you need to know the measure so that entertainment does not turn into addiction.

I gamble just to have some fun and see the multipliers that I can hit. The only time that I ever bet a large amount is for the Stake mega races. Through them, I am able to level up my VIP status and get a larger weekly mega boost. I have a large bank roll from doing this and I'm enjoy every second of it

Hello there ,

Yes sometimes when i get bored i gamble but not always , i always gamble to have fun cause gambling is my source of entertainment , when you get bored try different things in real life , like walking , or do chores . When i finished all my stuff at real life and nothing else to do when i idle i go back to Stake and check it out for fun . Community in Stake keeps pulling me in cause i dont have much friends at my place to talk to.

Well yeah, I do never try to get profited out of gambling simply because I know that I'm gonna lose. Also having fun while gambling and being able to afford losses, made me get some profits out of it aswell.

Actually no, in my case it's opposite I have a lot of things to do and sometimes I'm wasting time on gambling which is really bad. Wish I could just gamble when I'm bored.
