But I do actually like that increase house edge, while we are able to win and claim an increased rakeback at the same time, most times, I got whatever I busted back due to rakeback. It's also really nice to roll these bonus spins while winning too.

Without any huge balance to burn, the rolls with fractional and complete zero will slowly dwindle players apart, waiting in vain for a scatter (only to find out it will never be enough). For the next slot variant, if they are really game putting down 12 more of it? I would say we must have the payouts re-scaled. PS: Comparing it to dice/limbo, it is a game for those who love hunting high multiplier payouts (above 10x) for "profiting".
