iamsheikhadil Posted October 19, 2019 #1 Posted October 19, 2019 So, many gambling sites are banned in many countries like the US of America. And I have seen many players from these countries playing using VPNs. So there lives a friend of mine in the US of A and I gave him my referral link. He said the site is blocked so I asked him to use a VPN and I am scared if the government finds out, what will happen to him. He is using a trusted VPN though. If anyone has any knowledgeable experience on it, you may share. I appreciate. Thanks
Enzo Posted October 19, 2019 #2 Posted October 19, 2019 Nothing will happen. The whole point of a VPN is to protect your data from prying eyes. I use a VPN no matter what site I am on because I value my privacy. Not to mention, the US government has far bigger issues to worry about then someone playing on a gambling site they aren't supposed to be on.
Bigmann23 Posted October 19, 2019 #3 Posted October 19, 2019 the US government could care less about you friend using a VPN to gamble if he was caught nothing would happen
Mahdirakib87 Posted October 19, 2019 #4 Posted October 19, 2019 I don't think anything will happen. Gambling is illegal in most of the country. But people do online gambling. And government not going to track those online gambler. And VPN doesn't cause for problem.
wyj1306 Posted October 19, 2019 #5 Posted October 19, 2019 It's really nothing to worry about, I've seen other people here who use vpn to bet on Stake because it's banned in their country, and continue to bet today without any problem.
barbaris Posted October 19, 2019 #6 Posted October 19, 2019 As far as I know, nothing will happen to you. If gambling sites are prohibited in your country, then you can play through a VPN and nothing will happen to you.
Ali saher Posted October 19, 2019 #7 Posted October 19, 2019 I think so many users use Vpn for my Notting just playing gambling sites mostly use this with other things and I think govt know about this and not take any action because govt just take action when anybody dangerous for country otherwise every country so many people use Vpn
niki014 Posted October 19, 2019 #8 Posted October 19, 2019 bruh how many peeps from usa u think started or was gambling with csgo skins i bet a lot and most of them wasnt even using vpn lol
sheenazbay Posted October 19, 2019 #9 Posted October 19, 2019 There are a number of online gambling sites that I have followed for a long time, but in the past few months I have not accessed them unless I use VPN. and i did it and i didn't get any problem
CntryBoy Posted October 20, 2019 #10 Posted October 20, 2019 I generally use a VPN whether I am gambling or not. It helps to protect my privacy on all sites, not just gambling sites. I doubt the government is looking into all folks using VPNs, and I would bet that 90% of them at least are not using them for gambling, but other things...
Aiza824 Posted October 20, 2019 #11 Posted October 20, 2019 Modify one word on your question and the entire topic becomes taboo. Nothing will happen unless the casino strictly adheres KYC because VPN is, after all, designed only or privacy and anonymity. Privacy-wise it is even advantageous because you will gain confidence that the site isn't sniffing on your sensitive data. I have seen sites where they actually restrict VPN usages because the user is exploiting the site's advantages (especially those who host games with a greater element of skill such as Chess or Backgammon) by concealing their location and then playing unfairly in order to gain broader pools of opponent on lower ranks (informally and similarly known as smurfing on online MMO games).
wngo123 Posted October 20, 2019 #12 Posted October 20, 2019 Basically governments don't care what you do with your crypto currency as long as you: 1. buy/sell it 2. buy illegal things/pay for criminal activity 3. try to cash out bitcoin without taxes
