An idea for a Jackpot

Panto in his post made me think about an idea for a Jackpot here.

Jackpot has to be different than the one on Primedice and need to take advantages of the differents games on Stake. So why not a progressive jackpot who combine different games ?

Every game will have it's own "jackpot requirement", for example :

• Dices : rolling a 77.77 (as PD)
• Chartbet : cash out at 7.77x or a cash out @ 100x+
• Mines : 1 gems with 24 bombs
• Plinko : 999x (in high difficulty and 16 pins)
• Keno : 7 hits
• Roulette : spinning a 0 (zero)
• Hi-Lo : 14 cards in a row
• Blackjack : 21 with King + As (because king ass is a kick ass)
• Diamond Poker : 4 or 5 diamonds of the same kind (don't know if 5 exist ^^)
• etc.

You get the point. 

When you hit one of those you have nothing (or a mini reward like a 10k tip) BUT you can go on another game and if you hit the jackpot requirement again you win a "mini pot" (2 jp in a row). There you can try a 3rd game and if you hit the jackpot again, the reward increase again too. If you make all the jackpots in a row Stake.com is yours and you can spank Edward, Dan and all the Stake team.

Just throwing some random numbers here :

• 1 jackpot : 0.0001 BTC
• 2 jackpots : 0.00025 BTC
• 3 jackpots : 0.001 BTC
• 4 jackpots : 0.0025 BTC
• 5 jackpots : 0.01 BTC
• 6 jackpots : 0.025 BTC
• 7 jackpots : 0.1 BTC
• 8 jackpots: 0.25 BTC
• 9 jackpots : 1 BTC
• 10 jackpots : 10 BTC
• 11 jackpots : 100 BTC

We have "almost" 11 games for now (Dices Sphere + Original = 1 for me and i know baccarat + wheels are soon here so i count them) and the final jackpot would be almost the same as the jackpot at Primedice.

With time => more games added = more bigger reward possible. Not only in BTC but it can be different stuffs : a increase faucet for a certain amount of time, a t-shirt/mug/naked team picture/...,

What do you think ?

I think a good jackpot idea would be for the first person to hit 100x on Keno! I don't think this has ever been done before...

How would that actually work? Anyone can cash out at 7.77x Do you mean that you need to cashout at 7.77x and the chart must crash at 7.78? Because it can't crash at 7.77x....

well this post was from a loooong time ago and i thhink it is not possible for this to be implemented anymore since all these are easily achievaable by most players here. unless ofc 2  or 3 consecutive wins of each. then that changes things (except for chartbet since chartbet usually goes over 10x on mine)

i think the original idea is pretty abuseable (bet with 0 sat for example), and isn't hard to get to begin with (see the recent ouija challenge, that's 3 number in a row)

so instead of fixed number and payout, base the reward from profit and multiplier (or how rare it is) would be better 

something like this:

Dice - win at least 500x multiplier

Chartbet - cash out at least 500x

Mines - win at least 500x

Plinko - catch the last pin (left or right) on 14 or 16 pins game (any risk)

Keno - catch at least 8 hits

Roulette - catch the same number at least 3 times in a row

Hi-Lo - win at least 500x

Blackjack - win by open at least 7 cards on a hand

Diamond Poker - win by 5 of a kind

the payout is % base on the payout you actually get from the bet (so the game like blackjack or diamond poker would give you low amount while the 500x requirement give you high amount)

Jackpot in a row (the low% bonus due to it affected house edge, give higher amount would be bad for the site)

1 jackpot : 5% bonus

2 jackpots : 12.5% bonus

3 jackpots : 20% bonus

4 jackpots : 30% bonus

5 jackpots : 40% bonus

etc.

This would actually hype up Stake even further. People tryna hunt those jackpots would be awesome and trending all across Stake's followers. 🤘🏽

We have discussed this idea a few times on the development team and we feel the jackpot is a bit too gimmicky for our liking. It has served well for the old traditional crypto dicing games but with a casino we want to be more creative and build new ideas for better designed systems. A highly difficulty jackpot that's rarely hit and requires a certain wager amount that's truly hard to achieve, just doesn't fit into our ideology for the site.

Thanks for the clarity Dan  Are there any plans for Stake to add slots to the casino? If so, I think a jackpot could nicely be incorporated in the slot machine.
