I start online gambling before 1 year and 3,4 months and not my family members and friends know I play online gambling even not anyone know how know me in real and I not share this anyone I play online gambling this is I think good for me ,

If it becomes something more than a common hobby, you’ll definitely do better with more support from actual humans around you.

If you’re just afraid they might misunderstand or treat gambling as forbidden sin, I think keeping quiet is the best way. 😎

Family knows, but my friends I did not tell, the reason I did not introduce my friends, I am afraid they are angry with me if they fall poor because of gambling, let this be my secret. good luck

You are a star if you have been able to hide your gambling habit from your friends and family. It is hard to hide things when money is envolved. I have not tried hiding it from my family, they know I am into gambling. My friends on the other hand do not have clue about it.

Sometimes I feel it was wrong for me to disclose about my habit to my family as they fear it might have a negative effect in my life.

i strated gambling years ago when i was underage i was prob around 13-14 
i was gambling for csgo
my family member knew i was gambling 
i even told them when i got my first win 
my father was like ok my mother was like ok but if you keep going wont u lose it i am like yeah but who knows i dont care  ( btw they never even step a foot in a casino to gamble some of their friends own some thats the only time they maybe went in one  )
then when i was coming home from outside with friends or from school or whatever 
i used to sit and gamble  and i have 2 screens one big like 50 inch and one smaller like 30 inch and ipad and a phone for the 2fa for steam  ( back then 2fa was on email if u remember ) you can imagine when you come in my room it is all dark and there is screens lighting all over with not one but couple of casinos open 
they knew i gamble of 
you come in my room the first thing u ll notice is that it smells like cigarettes and then you will see that big screen with roulette open on it
my mom used to be like again grrrr why you gambling again  gambling is for poor people drun drun blah blah am like pff its fun + i make some so why not 
and they was like okay have fun but ya need to stop ya ll get addicted  i am like ok 
years after that i am addicted af  never stopped

Same here. None of my family members and friends know that I do online gambling. But they know I earn online. Though gambling and online earning is different. Gambling isn't good thing. So I don't want to tell this anyone.

I personally have never hidden gambling activities that I do from my family, unlike the case with my friends, because I protect my privacy from the public. and I think you should never have to hide from your own family if that is only a matter of gambling being hidden

I have been gambling for 4 years now,and as long as I know everyone is jelious because I had big pulls in the past and im lucky . So they kinda hate me for being lucky and mention everywhere that im a gambler .

my hobby is also playing in gambling his the one who encourage me to play on stake..its not bad if your family or friends gamble as long as you only gamble what you can afford to lose..

for myself, my friend and I don't really care about that because my own friend is an online gambler who also plays on stake.  and for my family it is not too much of a problem as long as it is within reasonable limits, it also seems like there were previously posts like this.

I Involve in gambling from long time like 4-5 years (but very less often its like fun)
but gambling like this casinos with currencies started in last year jun 2018. (on large scale for real earning)

Till now only my real brother know i m doing gambling.
I m doing gambling in from of my parents but they not much educated and don't aware what i m doing on internet.
(most often i don't play any card games when they around me) 
  
And even i don't tell any friend or family member about it.

Are you still a student?
if yes, then what you are doing is right. because most of the status of students are still dependent on parents, especially financial problems, it is not good to use parents' money to play gambling.
but if you are married or have worked, then hiding about gambling from your own family I think is not a good thing, let them know about your gambling activities, but not with your friends. try to maintain your own privacy from your surroundings regarding your gambling activities. because some people consider gambling to be taboo and forbidden

Truly speaking, my family member don't know I am playing online gambling. I always play gambling with little money so it's not necessary to inform them. I didn't loss all time sometimes I won also and make big profit covering my losses. It should be personal always so I think there nothing to inform family about gambling.

I think it depends on your family, if they are against gambling it's hard to talk about it, they take us for lunatics, on the contrary if they even play or can understand gambling then the you must not hesitate.

The best thing to tell someone about it, must be in the same field, someone who plays preferably.

I don't think it should be like that.
I myself come from a good family. Not even one of my siblings played gambling. however they continue to accept my activities as an active gambler at online casinos. they continue to accept my situation until now. in fact they often talk good things about gambling that I do.
indeed basically we have to see how our family is doing. that's important
