Attempting Races - Yay/Nay?

With the 2x daily races that’s been going on, I personally feel it’s becoming so much of a constant that there’s no opportunity cost in missing out on them.

Especially with the intense competition, you  would require a much bigger balance and bet size that you wouldn’t be necessarily comfortable with.

Do any of you participate in Races with the specific goal of getting the rewards? How else do you feel about these Races/Mega-Races?

Yes I think everyone want to participate in races and want to get good position,

When I have some balance I participate in race and mostly I play for increase wegar I not try to get top position because if you want top position then you need big wegar thats why when I have small balance I just play normal game but when I have big balance then I try to come top 10 position

I don't play that big anyway and I don't like rushing through games, the final part of races is always a frenzy of wagers trying to shove as much into the site as possible and I don't think I could handle that. I'd rather go slow and let the others fight it out, it's more fun to watch and follow the action.

sometimes I try to compete in a race, and in order to get a prize I play with big bets, and that makes me quickly lose my balance. I now do not want to repeat it again. I think, race is only for users who have a large balance

maybe if for a regular race I like to follow it but if for a mega race I would prefer to pass it because with a small balance I always fall far behind to reach the top 100, but if it is underway the regular race with a little balance can still get into the top 100

I think those who participated in the megarace / race all have the same goal, which is to hunt for prizes. but sometimes most people don't count risk in betting if they don't have a large balance. sometimes the prizes that are not able to cover the losses that occur. This is a mistake in understanding calculations

I tried the morning races which for me are less difficult to do because less player on the site but the afternoon I try sometimes but I have trouble getting into the top 100 even I can not do it

Personally, I've had mixed results with the races when they first came out.  I either won a lot, or lost a lot when I was competitive in them and trying to achieve a high ranking.

Now I usually prefer to play as I normally would on stake, but during race hours if possible.  That way, if I am getting extra coin back from placing in the top 100, its not because I've lost a lot because I'm "running fast" and betting at 1.01x to get one of the best positions.

This strategy works best for me, and I've been able to make some profit in some races, and get a nice extra race winning bonus too.

But I have to admit "sprinting" in the races is crazy fun too lol... I really used to enjoy it until I busted out multiple times trying to get one of the top 10 positions :)

well i dont depo just for the daily races, if i happen to have a balance at that time or just getting on a nice roll from rain. iknow if i will go for the race i will end up busting everything so i prefer some profit than to get the top 10 spot in race

its a nay for me
i used to join them in the start
but i was losing more then i was getting out of them
i i just stopped doing it cuz if i lose i prefer to enjoy my gambling not lose trying to wager
thats boring xD
even tho i might try mega race this saturday or next saturday
to see if i can acctually get a good place
or if not good it ll be cool if i dont lose as much and i get in top 50
then i ll get a price and 25$ from twitter so thats cool
a lil bit of $ for next gambling from twitter D:

participating in each race is all different, sometimes the $1k race top 1 is like 14btc but last week's $5k mega race top 1 was 9btc so I would rather play in the $5k race than the $1k race. more profits and better payouts. but it all depends on the bankroll

I don't do race with any specific goal. I have won race at stake only once. I wasn't trying for race. Playing my normal game and made position in race. But once I tried wager at pd. But not get much up in the end. Won small prize.

I think whatever it is, whether it's a $ 1k prize or a $ 5k prize, it all means nothing if we can't win the race. so, I don't think it's just a big or a little bankroll story. it's all about luck in the bets we make

yeah but not regular in starting since i joined i was playing every races and ended up with profits but now im losing only on every race so i try to participate in megarace only

Its all about strategy and luck too, the bigger bankroll u have the easier for u to make it compare to people with limited bankroll. I can do $100 bet dice 1.0102 and would be 1st easily, but there is risk to factor into it too so its all about strategy and wits haha

Well to be profitable with the daily races, you will definitely be needing a bankroll of at least 0.01 BTC range and above to stay comfortable when wagering or else it would just be draining your bankroll with lesser size bankroll.

I don't participate in races. I tried one time and busted my balance and receive 12k as prize. Since then I decided not to even try. Especially when I see people who wager 5.8 btc in one race. As you can see my statistics this is almost what I have wagered since I joined stake two years ago. Races are only for high rollers, so I can't imagine wager 5 btc in two hours or less.

I also join race when i can.. but most of the time bust before race lol!  But for me its hard to be in top 3 haha always wants to go fast!! But love the race
